Did Matt Sandell play in the Tolu Latu inspired Waratah player release trial for Uni vs Wicks?
Any reports on how he went in that trial if he did?

Tom Robertson has also been named in the Run On Team for Uni in their round 1 fixture against Eastwood on Saturday. Sandell possibly in Team Rehab because he is not named in any Uni Teams.

I think Robertson was unavailable through injury for that game otherwise would have been ahead of Sandell.

I really like Sandell as a player but can't help but feel he needs to add a lot of bulk before he can compete in Super Rugby.

Might need to sacrifice some of his mobility but I definitely think he needs to be on a program to get at least 10kg heavier.

Reports Sandell may have been dropped as he didn't provide a point of difference off the bench. He apparently was head below hips, lost his bind and going backwards collapsed off the bench.

With that form, he would fit into the Tahs' set piece strategy perfectly. Collapse when the ball is near the 8's feet so that it is play on rather than a penalty when being shoved 10m backwards.
