I personally am being negative because the Tahs have 10 wallabies and the Highlanders were shocking last year and have some significant injuries and the Tahs haven’t ever really looked in control.

Force would have the same number… doesn’t mean as much as it did 20 years ago. Who isn’t a Wallaby.

It's a consequence of the hype, particularly from the broadcast. It was always going to be an uphill battle for the tahs this year but there has been so much noise about them this year it has set them up for disappointment.

I do think it's been a decent game to watch because its smart and reliable but unspectacular highlanders versus the skillful but disorganized stars for the tahs. That clash of styles makes for a good game, but doesn't reflect particularly well on the tahs who have a long way to go, however this ends.

I just think the aimless kicking is disappointing, they’ve handed over possession multiple times in attack everywhere from turnover ball to the highlanders 22. It’s a continuation of their shit kicking from last year, it’s only Rd 1 but i had hoped McKellar would strip that from the game.

I like the intensity of the Highlanders. And they seem to be better at basics and cohesion
