So we get the win after the ref handed the tahs 13 free points... Some very strange call all night but who cares go the force the beginning of a 6 game winning streak rebels next week than 4 home games all is not lost.

On Harvey I thought he had a mixed game goal kicking very good had a few brain farts but that will get better but to me it seemed he was a bit relaxed not much urgency in him general play an was abit to relaxed with ball in hand. I liked at the end he started to come in at first receiver when stannard was caught at the break down which is something we have been missing.

Onwards and upward from here!

Good win Force. You blew my multi-bet but am happy to forgive you for beating the Tahs.

Tahs just did not look up to it again. 1 from 4 and going to need a massive improvement if they want to beat the Sharks next week.

What can one say about that rubbish. The Force played a very limitted game well. The Force pigs won that game. I stand by the judgement that Graham is a shocking coach, the standard of backline play has been woeful under whatever team I have seen coached by him. With over 70% of the ball in the first half they offered no threat at all and the basic skills execution was terrible.

As for the Tahs, in week 1 I said that they could not win the competition with Halangahu starting at 10, indeed I suggested that they would struggle to make the semis. Halangahu is just not a starting player and is most definitely not a Captain, his decision making and application especially in the last 15 minutes was poor. Indeed look at the half hearted attempts he was putting on in defence in that period including that for the miss which let in the try. 12 Months on from my "Tragedy of the Tahs" post nothing at all has changed.

Congratulations to the Force piggies and Boooooooo to the others.

Congrats to the force, played to the strengths never past or beyond them and there application was fantastic.

Tahs were shite. Never looked up for it, completely hungover from last week, lucky to get another bonus point that keeps them somewhat in the comp on 8 points but going o be a long season from here on in.

There were lots of times in the second half (once again wont comment in 1st half till I see it) but my god the kicking from the Tahs was horrendous - so many times they just should have run it.

I'm not as mad at the kicking as some, the problem stemmed from the forwards getting beaten at the breakdown that taking the ball into contact without great support became riskier, there wasn't the regency of last week to recycle and it led to the kicking.

The attacking kicking was another story, if your going to put in a grubber on every break at least put it in the corner and try to make it a contest.

It's only week 4...

Way too early for teams to be slinging up the noose or patting each other on the back...
