Many of the Tahs have no idea of a sympathetic pass - they fire it hard from 3 feet away, no-one will take that. Just basic stuff.

Holloway doesn't pack between the two locks on own ball, is that legal?

Law 20.3:

f) Binding by all other players. All players in a scrum, other than front-row players, must bind on a lock’s body with at least one arm prior to the scrum engagement. The locks must bind with the props in front of them. No other player other than a prop may hold an opponent.

Legal, then.

Tahs have worked their way back into the contest after giving up a 12-0 start.

Combo of Beale, Kellaway to Folau sees Folau equal the try scoring record for NSW (with Tuquiri) of 29 - congrats. Tahs: 17-12.

Brumbies secure a rolling maul meat pie to retake the lead: 19-17.

At times Cyclo - but at times their short passing has been very good, particularly as the half wore on. It's the sort of play we haven't seen enough from any of the Australian teams this year. Good to watch.

Beale has been deadly at 12. Best ball running 12 in the comp..
I don't know that he has to play 12 to do it though (from a Wallaby perspective). He is very effective just coming into the line when it suits and he is basically playing wing/ fullback in defence anyway. Quick enough to play wing too.

Beale has certainly been dynamite. If Carraro took his long ball just before H-T it was danger time for the Brumbies.

Tahs' off loads (when they stick) are causing headaches. The test will be whether they can show the patience to earn the right to go wide.

As expected, there's a discernible contrast in styles. Tahs with the advantage on counter attack but if the 2nd stanza becomes an exhibition of set piece the Brumbies will win.

True, some good offloads, but some squandered ones earlier.

Works fine now, but I have been having problems in recent weeks, error message being something in the lines of "error connecting to the tapatalk Servers, please login again"

Up 26-17, 24 min to go, penalty in front & Moore says scrum? WTF? Gonna look pretty stoopid if this doesn't pay off. Doesn't pay off but in fairness to Moore that was one weird bit of refing, why start calling "use it or lose it" when it's still moving in a more-or-less forward(ish) direction?

He called it first when still, then it started moving immediately, so I don't know why he went through with the call. Very strange call.
