So, Crusaders have won all of the last 10 meetings. Shades of the ABs and Wallabies. Suppose that stands to reason seeing that both teams dominate the representative sides and have done for while.

Anyway, Tahs are on the improve, and I think the Saders are starting to drop off, so a win for the Tahs might herald some better times for the Wallabies. Always optimistic.

So in the first 10 mins AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) has passed twice and Timani taken 2 lineouts but I suppose the forum thinks they still can't.

Useless assistant.

Just tuned in and Marshy has commented on the Tahs' play around the ruck so must be going well.
And a try is scored! Go the Tahs

17 phases for that try.

Tahs really working hard on their ball retention tonight, and looking good at 10 - 0.

Thoughts:

Tahs scrum is brilliant (TH win!!!)
Hooper showing why he is a must in the Wallabies 22.
Horne and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) playing the best game I've ever seen them next to each other.

Timani is playing loose but is the guy they are looking for when they need tight metres.

Not too sure about Douglas' technique though. He's a big unit, with a good workrate, but doesn't appear to be doing too much when he gets to a ruck...

It's all pretty one dimensional so far from the Tahs, would be surprised if the Crusaders don't sort their defence soon.

Goes to show that simple stuff works though.

Waratahs look to have really turned up tonight. The Tahs playing the ball out wide rather than closer to the ruck & at pace has taken some of the Saders counter rucking out of the equation. It isnt rocket science but it is a tactic that's making it a bit difficult to get to as many bodies to the breakdown to create turn over opportunities. The Tahs ability to add multiple phases together & at a high tempo with little error has been very good to watch - even for a Saders fan. I'd also pay credit to the good scramble defence of the Tahs earlier in the game.

Saders wise we've had little of the ball. Can't say much about our attack. I'd say our defence has been pretty good (exception: the defence on Betham for his try) given the amount of ball the Tahs have had.
