If we are targeting anyone to poach from the brumbies, let it be Tom Hooper please! And Pollard is off contract at the end of 2023 so fits in nicely, we could probably get his schoolmate Luke Reimer back as well.
I'd be happy to see Gleeson, Gamble and Harris backrow in 2024If we are targeting anyone to poach from the brumbies, let it be Tom Hooper please!
Another one DC had at Gordon in 2020 then took him to the MLR and won it there.Read that Harrison Goddard has signed with the Tahs on a 1 year deal. Great signing, he will be a very handy backup to Gordon with Grant on the pine.
Well rounded player that the Rebels did not develop.
I’d be putting Tom Hooper in the row, not 6I'd be happy to see Gleeson, Gamble and Harris backrow in 2024
No thanks , put him in shute shield for a year and see how he copes then.If we are targeting anyone to poach from the brumbies, let it be Tom Hooper please!
Brilliant player but I actually dont think we need him. We have a stacked back row and plenty of 5/6 hybrids. We need a proper out and out tight head lock.If we are targeting anyone to poach from the brumbies, let it be Tom Hooper please!
Spot on. Next year I'd like to see Hanigan/Holloway at 5/6 in any order. The other lock needs to be a proper TH lock.Brilliant player but I actually dont think we need him. We have a stacked back row and plenty of 5/6 hybrids. We need a proper out and out tight head lock.
Rahboni too, although I'm not sure if Gamble, Swinton or Sinclair are actually signed for next year yet. I can't see them letting Gamble go but there's going to have to be some more movement in that crop of back row/sometimes locks you'd think, particularly if they find the TH lock they're looking for. A lot might depend on the nature of Swinton's injury and when he looks like getting back on a rugby field.Spot on. Next year I'd like to see Hanigan/Holloway at 5/6 in any order. How about the backrow depth next year? If one of them are in the backrow that leaves Harris, Hooper, Gamble, Gleeson and maybe even Swinton for a 2 starting spots and a bench spot.
Meanwhile, there is still water to pass under the bridge before Tolu Latu returns to the Waratahs. Latu is still at the talking phase with NSW about a contract, which will be heavily laden with behavioural clauses.
Could be a good thing if they’re only considering top quality.Very quiet on the recruiting front

I like it.the tweeter says we have signed Harrison Goddard, good pick up
“Saving the best for last” is not a bon mot I would attribute to sporting contracts. Generally speaking.Could be a good thing if they’re only considering top quality.
