The Tahs pigs never consistently looked like a cohesive, angry unit

Can only work with what Gibson recruited with his light and mobile pack. Can't produce miracles.

They did somehow manage to have a relatively stable scrum and lineout. Never once got over the gain-line, but still. He achieved something.

The question is, who is available to take over?

Clearly this timing sucks. I was not against Gibson getting another year but him resigning at this point after Cron has already signed to go overseas is poor.

I'm not convinced Cron is ready to be head coach next year and was a better option for 2020 than Gibson but there's a much stronger chance he's a better option for 2020 than an internal promotion (Whitaker or Tandy). If they bring in someone externally then who knows.

No but they can work as a cohesive unit, they aren't 80kg units either and there are options to work around the issues

Scrum and lineout held up better than expected with what was recruited. Again can't work miracles
