FFS, get with it.

Yes, police did charge him with possession but that charge was dropped. Police could not prove the cocaine belonged to Hunt.

So it was dropped.

Hunt had his day in court and walked free.

Had he been found guilty he certainly would not be playing for any AUS franchise.

Thorn didn't want him at any cost, NSW are going through some due diligence process and may still give him a lifeline.

A fundamental premise of law in this country is "Innocent until PROVEN guilty"

Wasn't proven. Despite what many of us think.

Get over it.

Yes, I understand he wasn’t prosecuted and it is now not a criminal case.

However the causal evidence demonstrates a ‘relationship between an activity.’

Khunt was buying cocaine but it was not on his person as he dropped it. This is fine from a legal & criminal perspective, but from the POV of a sporting organisation based on preparation & performance, it was considered untenable, as part of a clear pattern of behavior from a senior member in a young squad.

There is a separation between criminal & professional culpability in the working world.

I think most people including myself think that K Hunt was up to no good and guilty as hell.

But charges were dropped and QLD had no legal reason to cancel his contract. So they kept paying him but refused to play him, which is their perogative.

Hunt dodged a bullet and is still able to play in AUS. Just needs to find a team.

Personally, I hope the Tahs pick him up, on a 1 strike and he's out contract.

He is a talent and for me, I don't think sniffing flour or sugar or any other powder up your nose should be a hanging offence. (I don't condone it, and never found the need for it myself)

Now raping women, starring in pornography, trashing Hotel rooms, and assaulting team mates(and anyone else), should be hanging offences.

Pretty much the same as the last one, he's in a room with someone holding a plate and he's using a vacuum cleaner as a didgeredoo (effectively as well). We'll get sick of these pretty quick if it's someone trying to pin something on him.

I think it's more likely that there's just a number of these videos floating around and with one out others are remembering they have one and realising they can cash in.

Anyone comparing this incident to what happened to KHunt is literally Hitler...

I wouldn't be surprised if these drumbeats are indirectly more about Hunt than Beale. Potential for the Tahs to go astray.
