^^^^ I think you grossly under rate Deegan and Mason, both are young and need consistent game time to develop. Let them play Shute Shield and really develop as they are without expecting them to make the jump to Pro rugby too young.

Kellaway is a very good player and one of the better 15 prospects of his age he has a good skill set and is developing well.

Outrage as No Waratahs make the team of the week and Reds players made it despite not playing..

End of season for us?
No chance of making the semis?
Ramifications - pressure on board to sack the coach and change the playing roster?
Gosh this thread has been quiet.

I'd be surprised if Gibson gets sacked. Half the issue will be who a reasonable replacement would be.

Some shake up of the assistants would probably be wise.

In terms of playing roster, we know we're losing Skelton, Mumm and Horne.

Locks have to be our signing priority and hopefully we can snag a good one from another team. Staniforth is rumoured and there are other potential options available from the Brumbies, and Simmons or Neville from the Reds. Adam Coleman would obviously be the best name to get.

Beale is back next year and maybe that means Simone and Horwitz are battling it out for the 13 jersey.

There will certainly be other players moving on but at this point it seems like a lot of the squad may be the same next year.

Tahs need to start looking for anew coach as keeping Gibson and co will lead to the same results.

The Tahs also need to throw money at both Coleman and Phillips for locks if the Force go

Breaking News -

NSW Waratahs team to be arrested on arrival at Sydney airport for multi-million dollar fraud,

NSW Police spokesperson - "They have been masquerading for a few years now as Professional sports people and have obtained massive unearned benefits from that."

SMH Gnostic this could have been resolved earlier by texting SFS stadium security (during a tahs home game):

'There are 15 men dressed in sky blue offending all in the stadium. Please remove them ASAP'

We are crying out for more community engagement and making a financial loss every year, yet most of our teams are heading overseas during the June break????

Wouldn't it be great if the Tahs played the Brumbies in Dubbo and Tamworth this week. Ino no Wallabies players but still the kids there would have Fardy, Mumm etc to look upto. Sign a few shirts, appear at training all week, it'd be great for the communities. A new regional location every week over June

Just an idea and something to think about.

Those would be good June fixtures - v the Reds at Goondiwindi (on the border) and v the Rebels at Albury (on the border). Perth's a bit harder to organise but an exhibition game v the Force in Adelaide or Darwin would be good for building awareness in non-rugby centres.

I suspect though that none of those would be as financially successful as whatever Suntory are paying them to go to Japan.

Pass it to Dunning!

I don't mind the Tahs going over to play in Japan, if only because it puts some more money in the coffers and gives the outer squad some more game time. It's not like they chose this instead of a game against a local team.

Reading Gibson's comments in the media the last couple of days has been enormously frustrating - the amount of self control to not loudly abuse my mobile in public has just been plain tiring. Grey has been found out and needs to own that this happened and that things have worsened.

2 years of 'quick fixes' have been anything but.

Our defense has been shit. Forget that Grey is the national defence coach - we have gone backwards defensively (and literally!) with him.
