For that type of money he would be crazy not to go

Yeah, it is a huge deal.

Hopefully he is mature enough now to keep it together whilst being away from his family etc.

Assuming he is still with his partner and she is going with him.

Hopefully he does well and then we see him back at the Waratahs in 2019.

Good work KB (Kurtley Beale). He has been a solid performer the last year or so (probably more) and has proven many doubters he is up to it (including myself - I was a huge anti-Beale advocate).

A huge deal i think everyone would agree would take themselves. After his RWC performance I say he deserves it.

A huge loss for the Waratahs although he will still be available for the wallabies so who cares about the Tahs ;)

KB (Kurtley Beale) HAS matured into a fine young man, who just happens to be a very good rugby player.

He is NO different to any other young man.

Good luck KB (Kurtley Beale)

Just realised Cipriani plays for WASPS. I wonder if JOC (James O'Connor) will join them? ;)

Always a fan of KBs on field exploits, he'll be missed but I wish him well.

He is different. For example; Cooper and JOC (James O'Connor) are still struggling with form where Beale is not. ;)

The difference had nothing to do with "form"
however I do agree that KB (Kurtley Beale)'s form is a heap better than KB (Kurtley Beale)'s former amigos

You trot this line out every time we have the VB / Tooheys debate. We all know deep down that VB is FAR superior to that Tooheys shit. Survey the GAGR masses if you must, but you know the truth.

I'm greatly enjoying a Carlton Draught at the moment. A much underrated beer.

I think the difference has a lot to do with M Cheika. If he'd got O'Connor at the same time then it'd have been different. Sadly Cooper was cruelled by injury.

Too true, Groucho. Kurtley was somewhat lucky when Cheika took the Tahs gig, any miscreants were quickly puled into line by a blast from TGC. JOC (James O'Connor), on the other hand, drew the short straw in Graham. Poor bastard. I can't think of anyone who improved during Graham's term at the Reds. But don't list suggestions on this thread, that's a topic for another place.

This is what I posted on the match thread after the press conference tonight.

He has significant damage to his patella tendon.

When asked if Beale would be back to play for the Tahs this season Gibson said: "Hard to say at the moment but I image it would be extremely unlikely".
