Horwitz has already got his name at top left with Davie Dennis. Plus Horwitz is named David.

Particularly with two of your flyhalf options overseas and one recovering from injury. Would've thought they'd make a bigger deal of it though, he was one of the NRC's best.
I don't think any of these players are signed yet.
They're just there for preseason training with the carrot that there are spots up for grabs.
Hugh Roach wasn't signed in 2014 until the season launch a week or so before the first trial.
I think you're right here. Having them over and keeping them in the fold is great incentive for when they really come of age or have to knock back other clubs/codes advances.

To remind them that they haven't got a Super Rugby contract yet, Gibson didn't want them to get comfortable by holding a meeting in a meeting room. Luxuries like rooms and chairs are for contracted players only.

Also these may be the only guys free on a Tuesday. May be more players who couldn't attend due to other commitments.
