i've said it many times before, i reckon he'd make a great 13 and putting him at 12 gets him part way there.

I'd prefer trying Folau at 12 or 13 next year, the national side has always had great outside backs but we lack size and a damaging runner in the centres with an offload capability like Nonu or SBW.

Don't know if Folau would get enough space at 12, but surely he and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) could switch a lot in attack.

Maybe Beale will be a bargain under current circumstances. I can't imagine anyone will pay top dollar except league.

I really don't like the idea of Folau at 12 - he is noticeably less effective on the wing as it is. 12 is such a jack-of-all-trades role that if there is one thing he is weak at, it will stand out like blood on a dove.

yeah Folau is either a 13 or a 15 for me. He can obviously play winger but i feel as if he would be wasted there. He is a running player and 12 is generally more of a distributer or crash ball role. I think he would still be good, but not as effective as he would be at 15. Considering he has pretty much been the form fullback in his first season, why move him?

Beale 10, Foley 12, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 13, Folau 15? Assuming Beale only comes if Horne leaves.

Thats if Foley could play 12? he has the similar skill set of a distributer style 12. Wouldn't struggle with the control of the game as much as he wouldnt have to.

I think signing him just doesn't work for the Tahs - They have Foley, Lance and Volavola as 10s, Folau, Crawford and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) as fullbacks. Stick with Horne - you have a proven 13 who is also tearing it up at 12 and obviously works well with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and can be his backup if he isn't at 13.
