If we lose Hooper then it would be a big blow to our title hopes.

Please remove this comment from the site and universe and never speak of it again.

The Reds match would be a great preparation for the finals. Fired up Reds side in front of hopefully 40k at Suncorp. Must win match for a week off. Should be a great match for Aus rugby too.

I'll guess, if it comes off, there'll be a few. I personally find it one thing to be stoked your team wins, but another to "crow" about it, which to me means rubbing somebody's nose in it.

IF it comes off, I will be verbally carpet-bombing the shit out of anyone who delighted in ripping on the Tahs, year after year, for "never winning anything".

But there is a lot of water to go under THAT bridge before I'm about to get bullish.

Simple equation - get the Tests out of the way, then win our last three games. Do that, and we finish first.

Tahs shouldn't get ahead of themselves. They play Brumbies then Highlanders. Both very loseabout

All three games will be tough, no mistake. At least they have their destiny in their own hands, but it will take 3 good games to seal top spot, or even second.

Hopefully we get three of them in there.

If anyone doesn't get how important a Tahs win of the S15 is to the SURVIVAL of Aus rugby, let alone the prospering of it, they need their fucking heads read. Everything possible that can be done to secure that outcome, must be done.

The truly scary concern is that even a Tahs S15 Title may be too late for the good cause, such is the core damage done to the relative sports market position of rugby, in our single biggest sports market, by years of brutally incompetent and negligent NSW RU/Tahs RU mismanagement.

As much as I hate it and could be bad for the side... the NSW media needs to overhype the shit out of the possibility of a title.

....and btw let's keep preying that The Rugby Gods keep opining in their brilliance that Jakeball should never, when it counts, be awarded anything better than second place.

I hope the pricks drop another one and the Crusaders finish 2nd... before getting beaten in Christchurch by the Force ;)

Well, like you, I want the Tahs to win the whole shebang so I'd prefer the Sharks at SFS than Cru on August 2. Hopefully Jakeball will have played itself into an hysterical frenzy of unrelieved monotony and repetitiveness by then with all vestiges of clever attacking play gone.

The last semi was at the SFS (against the Shorks no less) but that was before we took matches to ANZ. I would hope a semi could be at the SFS (probably only get 40k) and the final at ANZ 50k+

Well IMO if the crucial outcome is a Tahs S15 win then charging more per seat and packing out the SFS with a passionate, bursting-out crowd is way better than the same sort of $ income with a half-full ANZ echoing crowd enthusiasm more to the cold night sky than to the players.

I have a sneaky suspicion the last contract insists all Tahs finals are played at Homebush until it expires. Was it for 10 years?

Id hope that any finals games were played at ANZ, surely a semi final would sell-out at SFS, i would hate to see punters turned away even if the quality of watching the game isn't as good at ANZ.

wow. depressing post dude.

Study carefully the NSW RU's and the ARU's Annual Reports, even BP's open declarations re the very poor financial state the code's in, the hard facts are what's depressing, they should never have become so.

If the Tahs' crowds stayed where they were in 2012-13, ditto those in other States bar QLD, and the ARU doesn't get a massive additional $ boost from S18 TV revenues from 2016, the whole Australian rugby enterprise risks insolvency in the 2016-17 period.
