You missed out on the optional bonus point answer of Horne is a rubbish ball hog who misses tackles and is made of glass.

I think you underestimate my man-love for Horne.... He's a fucking invincible beast who only needs a distributing 12 to show you all he's the real deal.

10-cooper
11-McCabe
12-Barnes
13-Horne
14-Ioane
15-jailbird
McCabe before Mitchell?!?! Or JOC (James O'Connor)?!?! Really???

JOC (James O'Connor) is really the difficult one to place. If these guys are all good to go, maybe you go:

10-Cooper
11-Mitchell
12-McCabe/Fainga'a
13-JOC (James O'Connor)
14-Ioane
15-Beale

Geez....it's not easy......

I like having a bit of a crash-baller at 12 with the option of skipping 12 and going to another 'playmaker' at 13.....Barnes is out cos he'll get concussed on his first crash-ball....

JOC (James O'Connor) won't be ready until a couple of games into the Rugby Championship.

Unless our results are diabolical, I think he'll struggle to get more than a bench role.

I've called before for JOC (James O'Connor) to be a super sub. That said between injuries this year has no one else noticed that the rebels have been at their worst the more involved he has been.

That makes it a bit easier

10-Cooper
11-Mitchell
12-McCabe/Faainga
13-Beale
14-Ioane
15-AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

;)

Is that cos they play him at 10?

Watch Beale become the 1st choice 10 for the Rebs next year....

I would have Cooper at 10.
9. Genia
10.Cooper
11. Ioane
12. Barnes or Harris
13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14. Shipperley
15. Beale

Two backs on the bench, White and Tapuai

There was criticism of the way Cooper played in the world cup, but was that in part due to the rigid structure set up by Deans employing centres who went straight up the middle & offered no X factor?
Was Cooper too stereo typed for those games, before Wales where until injured he was given more free rein.

You're right, those factors definitely contributed in him kicking the ball out on the full to start the WC semi-final.

It was all part of the plan.

Lull them into a false sense of security.

If the match had been three weeks long, it might have worked.

Cooper won't get the gig because he called Deans on his BS RWC tactics. We will have lost the Bledisloe before Deans swallows his pride and brings in Cooper.

Cooper came out and said he had no idea what Deans' game plan was etc. Speaking with a couple of people I know involved with the Reds and Wallabies, it wasn't just Cooper who had no idea what Deans was going on about.

I don't think it says a whole lot really.

The execution by Genia and Cooper was poor throughout the RWC. Whatever the game plan we had, it was never going to go very well with them playing poorly.

I'd also be wary of Cooper comparing a 'good' game vs Wales in a playoff to playing the All Blacks in the semis 1 week after an extremely tough game vs the Boks.

I would also question the logic in the Irish game, but in that game Barnes could have made a big difference with some judicious kicks (not something we can rely on Barnes for but certainly something he can do.) We didn't lose due to Quade, but he certainly didn't help.
