Hey all, Bart here from TSF (boo, hiss etc).

Injuries striking everyone all over the place - what's the status on the Wallabies - players like Chisolm gooooone, Elsom, meant to be backl, but what's the Wallaby injury list.

Just want to know if it's as bad as the AB one and too lazy to go lokoing too hard when the info is going to be at your fingertips!!

Cheers,Bart

Hey, Bart, are you the advance TSF party ? :)
huge injury list - Kepu, Benn Robbo, Palmer, Ma'afu, Chis, Palu (although back this weekend, will prob break again, same for TPN), Elsom, Beau Robinson, Barnes, A Fainga'a, Horne, Mitchell, Ioane, and plenty of fringe ones too.

Out for the season
Mark Chisolm

Salesi Ma'afu
Aiden Toua

Out for rest of S15
Rocky Elsom
Drew Mitchell
Rob Horne
Ant Fainga'a
Peter Hynes
Sekope Kepu

Paddy Ryan

Should be back before end of S15
Benn Robinson
Lachie Turner
Beau Robinson
Rod Davies
Mike Harris
James O'Connor
Willie Ripia
Brett Sheehan
Gene Fairbanks
Pat McCutcheon
Ryan Cross
Digby Ioane

Probably forgotten some, and the classifications could be wrong.

You support NZ? well in that case, nah no injuries. Barnes playing well, cooper hasn't missed a kick all season, Gits is predicted to be number 10, Pocock hasn't missed a tackle this year, Sharpe has turned over every lineout since round 3, Beale is unstoppable, and our forward pack is looking the strongest in over 20 years.

Is Drew Mitchell a world cup possibility? I thought his season was done and dusted?

He can, but he won't be in the side unless he finds form quickly. All reports are that he will be playing, wether at the same level or not I have my doubts

Even if hes match fit to fit him in this backline would be an effort
10. Coops
11. Ioane
12. Barnes
13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14. JOC (James O'Connor)
15. Beale

Personally, (If he's ready) I'd like to see him play 14 and O'Conner play 12

He seems to think so. He was quoting 8-12 weeks after his injury, which happened around 4 weeks ago IIRC. Judging from his twitter he still sounds pretty positive.

cheers for that barbarian. Just wanted to see if your list was as bad as ours. It is! And what better place to come than the Convict TSF to get it straight form the horses mouths...

Any time Bart. I suppose the redeeming feature of our list is that all of our established Wallabies should be right for the 3N and the RWC. Mitchell is the exception, but he did just put this up on twitter:

Nothing but positive news from the surgeon.. I'm now parting ways with my crutches and walking in my boot.. Everything is on track..

Which is great news.

Easy

Genia
Cooper
The Rooster
JOC (James O'Connor)
A.Fainga'a
Ioane
Beale

21. Giteau
22.AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

5 forward reserves.

Not everyone's cup of tea but I'd be very happy to see them run out on July 23.

Lot of people see it that way. I'm a big Fainga'a fan but I can't see him being effective off the bench. He's solid as a rock but I always want players with good penetration coming on after 50-60 mins.

I know that's not justification for putting him in the VX but in my opinion he either starts or chills the drinks.

Personally I'd be happy if they took him even if he wasn't in form. He can use the pool games, which is almost 3-4 weeks, to get back to his best.

He is too good to be left behind. Morahan should probably start while he finds his feet, but an off-form Mitchell is still as good as turner, cummins or whoever else will compete for the reserve winger.

Yeah, either start him or leave him out.

When considering injuries and form, he's definitely in the top 2 for our options at OC atm, but there are better impact players than him.

Depending on whose starting I'd prefer to see players like Morohan, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Cummins, Chambers and Inman on the bench. All of who should be able to cover OC, however I wouldn't start many of them.
