I'm not overly convinced by Mortlock. Partly because his form is waivering and partly due to the Wallabies not winning anything with him as captain. The other part is him being too far away from the action.

I'd prefer the captain to be a forward or halfback.

Ditto from me, whats mroe I think Morty will really struggle to make our starting team in 2011 some we should blood next in line earlier on.

The Australian throws up an interesting candidate - one Dan Vickerman. There are a lot of 'ifs' tied to it, but its not a bad option.

That's a VERY good suggestion.

He could talk to the ref while he is putting his contact lenses back in.

He would have to improve on his 'leadership' from the 07 RWC QF where he seemed to lose the plot.

I think you'll find that Vickerman is generally broken.
