i think Quirk might have a fair battle on his hands just to break into the starting Reds side let alone the Wallabies, howerver it could happen.

Maybe 2011 or 2012 is more likely for this bolter but I think Ben Daley may see some extended training squad time in the next year or so.
2ndrow- Hockings
Backrow- Higgenbottom and Mowen
Backs - Horne, Fanifo and Gasnier (to do an Elsom and return after the Super 14),

Deans is known to call up reserves who haven't been distributed with much game time for their state team. Kingi for one, it wouldn't surprise me if he makes the call up that's what I'm saying. Quirk will probably get a bit of bench time, I for one think Quirk has the potential to match Hinginbotham.

Cummins will be out until round 8 of the S14s so it will be a big effort for him.

Faniifo should get a run if he follows up this years form.

Dan Palmer should add some depth to our propping stocks.

Fitzgerald is way too young.

Hocking and Wykes now have 2 seasons under their belts, they should be looking to step up. But Im not convinced Wykes is tall enough to be a lock. He could be an option at 6 allowing Rocky to go to 8?

depends what happens with QC (Quade Cooper):
- Fainifo
- Lealiifano
- Lucas
- Dan Palmer
- Fitz.

I think regardless of QC (Quade Cooper) outcome, you'll find Lealiifano takes over as #1 contender for 10 or 12 jersey this year. He'll rip up S14 at either 10/12 with Gits either side. Was coming good before injury late last season & ripped up Canberra grandfinal. Unlike QC (Quade Cooper)(burglary) KB (Kurtley Beale)(Assault) wont give G&G jersey bad name.

From what I have seen and heard from Brumbies camp. Toomoua is seeming like the in form #10 at the moment, especially at the Brumbies. Whoever misses out on a starting spot this year, will surely be selected for the Melbourne franchise.

"In form". Has he even resumed training yet?

i rate To'omua over Laliifano, Lealiifano is a melbourne boy anyway, so i expect him to return home

If Lealiifano is a chance then Hangerlouloulou must be a chance as well, they are both military medium at best.

Both Toomoua and Christian are Melbourne blokes. Biffo returned to training the other week.

My bad, was in a rush. Toomoua returned to training the other week, and they are sounding confident of him. Maybe drilling Christian and Toomoua for the #12 spot as well. Toomoua for me is a better 10, Christian I think would make the better #12. Both handy players to have in a team, even on a bench.

If only there was unlimited substitutions in Union.

I prefer Toomoua over Cooper & Beale, think he is all round better than those two sure Beale & Cooper are better in some aspects but as a complete package I'd have Toomoua.

Clinton Sills? He's getting lots of recognition for his try-scoring skills in rugby 7s.

We would have to give Ben Tune another contract to do his defending, Sills makes ROG look like a battle axe.
