Team announced to play wales:

15. Adam Ashley-Cooper (Brumbies)
14. Peter Hynes (Queensland Reds)
13. Digby Ioane (Queensland Reds)
12. Quade Cooper (Queensland Reds)
11. Drew Mitchell (NSW Waratahs)
10. Matt Giteau (Brumbies)
9. Will Genia (Queensland Reds)
8. Wycliff Palu (NSW Waratahs)
7. David Pocock (Western Force)
6. Rocky Elsom (Brumbies, captain)
5. Dean Mumm (NSW Waratahs)
4. James Horwill (Queensland Reds)
3. Ben Alexander (Brumbies)
2. Stephen Moore (Brumbies)
1. Benn Robinson (NSW Waratahs)

Run on reserves:
16. Tatafu Polota-Nau (NSW Waratahs)
17. Matt Dunning (Western Force)
18. Mark Chisholm (Brumbies)
19. George Smith (Brumbies)
20. Luke Burgess (NSW Waratahs)
21. James O’Connor (Western Force)
22. Kurtley Beale (NSW Waratahs)

Digby, Genia n Robinson are all fit thank god and Mumm gets a run in place of Chisholm, I think thats a wise choice mumm seems to play with a lot of heart n he's put in a lot of hard work. Chishom hasnt done much at all except bring up the wallabies average age a bit. Pocock is also on instead of smith which is justified he's the in form 7 atm. Also Beale's on the bench after showing his versatility and good work in the cardiff game.

would have liked to see QC (Quade Cooper) n Gits swap jersy's but then again i would have also like to see larkham and horan start instead.

I'll be camping out west somewhere when the game is on. For which I shall be truly thankful.

When you say camping, Nick...

Good to see Beale on the bench and Mumm deserves a start. Chisolm has been pretty quiet. I really hope Mumm brings some leadership to the tight 5.

Beale looked very good mid week, ran some good lines from blindside wing and injected himself well. Was impressed with his running. I would like to see him get more of a shot at fullback, but am not sure this is very likely with Mitchell going to the Tahs.

What a dumb decision that's looking; Shmoo should be third in line for the 15 jumper at the Tahs after Turner and Beale. If Lachie could improve his kicking he has the potential to be a very good fullback. Beale deserves the opportunity to be trialled at 12 after his introductory Wobbly tour.

Ryan Jones out. Which means you should be able to destroy them even more at the breakdown, as he's the guy doing two men's work while Mongo's there.

theres always the posibility that mitchell will play wing.

As long as Beale is in the team, 12 or 15, then I'd be happy. Both are spots where we need depth in Australian rugby, although you could argue that 15 is more important at the moment.

I'd prefer to have barnes/beale at 10/12 than beale at fullback anyway. guy is a playmaker, he should be near the ball.
tuner/mitchell at fullback at super rugby level i have no problems with. they can both be irractic, they can both be fantastic, time will tell.

The fullback gets the ball more often than the 12 and if Beale is there he will have an opportunity to launch counter attacks. If the 'tahs play the way they did most of last season they won't need a 2nd 5 they would be better off with Tom Carter's crash ball.

Holy fuck, Tah J. Are you suggesting someone take Carters spot in the side?

Or do you want him at 13 instead of Horne?

Sorry about that Scarfy.... back on topic then

The game starts at 4am tommorow morning any predictions?

Mine is the Wallabies to play well in patches, dominate in the forwards and look to have a chance at winning only to find a new way to lose the match (most likely through the backs) .... Wales by 4.

ive never suggested carter be in the tahs opening line up. i only mentioned his name as opposed to the 485 people who trained for the wallabies this year who are never going to win a game for australia. At least carter wouldnt make stupid mistakes and he knows what its like to win games!

I think Ioane will get us over the line in a tight game, and think that we will do it by about 9pts.
(or is this just bias talking?? we reallly are finding ways to give up games)
