My take on the hookers....

Uelese and Fainga'a are our best young prospects...

BPA isn't far behind.....

TPN is not as good as he was before heading O/S, possibly due to the travel/workload?

Latu is either very good, or very bad, with very little in between (his head - bam!).

Uelese was there a while back, but I think BPA displaced him with his response when he had a chance. The good and the bad.

This said - rolling with building experience in new hookers being Fainga'a and Uelese, in the EOYT. This would be far superior to what we seem to be seeing.

Isnt Eulese crocked. I had assumed thats why hes played no part all year. Cheika obviously rated him previously.

Yeah - Uelese is out injured and has been for pretty much the whole season.

Wherever he sits in the ranking is presumably tempered by the need to get some game time to reassert his place in the pecking order.

It’s not like he’s a Jack Dempsey after all.

Uelese did his ACL, don't think he'll be playing till April next? If we had as much depth at 6 as we did at hooker I don't think Dempsey would be playing.

Uelese will be back next season and if fit will be in the RWC squad. He is bigger and stronger than the young blokes com8ng through now and his core skills are very good.
TPN is touch and go to be up for it in 10 months. Uelese will be our starting hooker with the other 4 fighting for back up spots.

Wallabies are lucky to head into the sheds at 3-3 with Halfpenny missing two easy kicks.

Don't know what to think of this first half. Australia with so many stupid penalties that halt any progress we have. Wales haven't looked particularly threatening and we've been making good inroads when we actually keep the ball in hand.

I've liked the look of Sefa so far, defensive patterns have been holding up. Pocock having a traditionally good game and Hooper seems a bit quiet. Coleman and Rodda have been great in attack and defence. But Tipriuic is amazing and we need to protect the ball more with him lurking around.

1st Hlf Wobs v Wales:
Two very average teams playing a very average game of footy.
Schmick 2 mins from Wobs at start, but it all just fallls apart...
The obsession with kicking on the attack is weird.
Scrum/lineout...shithouse

Genia's clearing box kick gains more metres than any of the other backs' clearance all game. Every penalty we've gained like 15m when kicking for touch, it's abysmal.

Also our decisions when to take a shot at goal are bizarre.

Edit: Well strike me down, not as bizarre when To'omua can kick like that.

Has Beale put money on Wales to win or something? What the fuck does he think he's doing, points down, seconds left and he keeps kicking possession away. We deserve to lose this.

It would be easy to blame Ned Hanigan for the deciding penalty goal but the obvious problem is that Cheika and his selection team can’t see that he just isn’t up to it and keep picking him.
Pete Sami must just be scratching his head.

Well that was a game I won't watch any replays, that was pretty crap by both teams. You could tell it was pouring with rain because the handling was not very good, shame it was an enclosed stadium!!

An incompetent performance and maybe our worst of the year, of which there are many possible performances that would or could be.
The Wallabies are being coached into mediocrity.

Coaches need to go

I guess the upside is we played like absolute shit and still nearly won, Wales have absolutely nothing not really worried about playing them at the World Cup at all

Simmons and Hanigan really showed they shouldn’t be there, both directly responsible for that last penalty that put Wales in front, I’d rather our starters be cooked and stay on than having those guys come on the field

We are in desperate need of a forwards coach, silly penalties, too much one out shit, lineouts a mess

All the kicking was weird especially from Kurtley

Liked that we went for lineouts instead of shots at goal though, even if it didn’t pay off

Wales never looked like scoring take the 3 points when your bang in front get the ball back, go again, scoreboard pressure and the lead.. Not taking those points was strange...
