I will also admit as neutral, I quite enjoyed the game. A couple of teams getting stuck in and putting in a bit af angry!
I know it easy not really having much in who won, but I have sat here until midnight and found it all good. I will say having a 6-2 split can come back to bite you, and losing Tupou without him getting on certainly didn't help.

I think the thing that really brought my rage out was watching white setup for every box kick, telegraph the shit out of it, kicking into the wind going nowhere while Hodge is standing outside the pocket and the saffs all on the right knowing they have it covered.

who care's what Christy Doran write, a blue tick next to your name doesn't make your opinion validated, he is a cliche News Corp journalists who likes tabloid articles and click-bait headlines

And we didn't have a lot of injures for this game ? We hardly had a back line and our props played 80
Apart from Tupou's late withdrawal I don't think we were missing any more than you would for a normal test match. Tupou was a big loss and didnt play, but Sio was fit and played from the 64th minute. A step up from Gibbon ss reserve IMHO. Apart from QC (Quade Cooper) and Banks, who were our definite starting backs missing?

Will be interesting to see if white gets the starting role for Bled 1. Rennie made a comment post match that he thought Gordon played very well when he moved to 9.
He also specifically criticised Whites box kicking when Hodge can roost it 70m up the centre and make them play it out of their 22.
Sounded like a hint of a change…

To be fair to White (and I think he had a very poor game by his standards) it is easier to look better later in a game when it is looser.

Swap any player in that starting lineup for anyone on the bench or in the wider squad.

It won't change the fact that our ruck was back to our old habit of simply not securing ball. Every issue we had can be traced back to the fact we didn't treasure the pill. Put all our decision making under pressure, spent most of the first half within 40m of our own line, and generally sucked when we tried to do anything.

was there much wind in the stadium? Or were they just poor kicks?
