I guess the team comes out tomorrow?
Not expecting major changes. Porecki and FF (Folau Fainga'a) to swap. Same for Wright and Kellaway. Sio to make way for Bell and I wouldn’t say no to Gleeson getting Leota’s bench spot. But I don’t think it’ll happen.

He might end up a superstar, but why rush him when we don't need to, his in the squad the guys in front are playing well, let him come out and smash Super Rugby. For now Jed and Rob are doing good at 6.

It’s not like Leota is playing the house down from the bench. I think it’d be good to see Gleeson come on but I respect it’s very unlikely.
It seems the same starting 15 will run out again in Sydney. I do still think we need to see more from the bench though.

Holloway isn't exactly ripping it up to start either.

Plenty of time for Gleeson. He's 21 - and TBH it'll be very competitive at the Tahs in '23 for blindside.

Tom Decent has been absolutely slammed on twitter for writing about that. Can’t say I blame them.

Leota should be starting ahead of Jed, but for some reason all Jed has to do is stand next to a break down & Morgan Turinui claims him to be the greatest player to ever play the game

Neither has impressed or stamped their authority on the #6. What's Leota done better?

I thought Leota was very good in the Eng series, he was benched when we went to a 6/2 bench because he can cover Lock off the bench when we had no locks to pick from. Def he is solid & he certainly gets over the gain line better than Jed. Credit where credit is due Jed has had a great season & deserves everything coming to him, but I dont think he has claimed the 6 jersey for life & I dont think Gleeson should come in ahead of either.

We have not really seen Holloway carry much. It could be that he is doing a lot of grunt work in the tight?

How long since that has happened?

It will be the first time in 48 Tests that the Wallabies have named an unchanged starting side, a run dating back to the home Irish series in 2018 when Israel Folau and David Pocock were still running around.

Indeed, not since the 26-year run between 1922 to 1948 - a run extending 59 Tests - have the Wallabies gone so many matches without naming the same run-on side.
