Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Bomb adjacent is one of the sparklers my son gets on his birthday cake.

I'm gunna hit the forum with an unpopular opinion but Tizzano off the bench is not the same Tizzano who brained it for the Force this season.

I rate him, but I think he needs to be playing 'his game' if that makes sense and I'm not sure that works in tandem with McReight. In the same vein if they pull him for McReight with 10mins to go, he doesn't have enough time to play his game.
We just shrink our pack if both are playing and it's likely Skelton has come off by then also. I'd much rather play a smaller pack late in a game over a big one.

Barely a hand grenade.

Joe loves Frost. I worry about this idea of holding Bell back and taking the sting from the game. Wallabies were lucky to not be way behind by the time he got on. Could of easily been 17/0 and then who knows where the Wallabies would have gone from there.

HAnd grenade it is, lol!

Not necessarily the team I would've named, but I don't hate it and I am very happy to see some consistency for once.

The Lions being forced to split their centre pairings is a very good thing for us too.
And losing McCarthy too. Hopefully Kinghorn has another ‘mare of a game too.

The Lions will cream us in the halves, and that will be the game.

Head scratchers include Bell on the bench, Porecki in the XXIII, no second primary jumper with Skelton in the team, Hooper missing out in favour of Tizzano who probably won't get to play No 7 at all if McReight stays on for 80, our halves pairing and Potter retaining his spot.

I think Salakaia-Loto's exclusion is entirely on the basis that he he's considered the third best tight head lock.

We've got Skelton and Williams there and Frost and Canham as loose head locks.

Clearly we can argue whether the pecking order shifts because one of our tight head locks can potentially shift to the other side and beat out Frost there. In the first test we lacked grunt on either side so it was especially noticeable.
It’s a long season ahead. He will be included soon I reckon, along with a few others. Canham is a good young prospect but LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) has shown he is perfectly capable of starting right now. We are going to need some beef against SA.
Attitude is gold.

There is no team we can put out that wouldnt have some combination of flaws.

I think this is an improved team and probably pretty close to the best we can field. No excuses now.
