Wallabies v France, 7.00am AEDT Sunday Morning

The ball handling skill of our forwards isn't good enough to beat well drilled defences. And this compounds when we are put under pressure, get slower ball or have to commit more players to the tackle phase after phase. We get slower and less agile, while the defence gets more time and line speed.
I don't disagree with you, but by my count our forwards passed it 37 times last weekend, so our skills aren't stopping us from doing it. (They had 58 carries)

I suppose I'm trying (poorly) to make the point that we aren't executing to the same level as the top teams. Sure we can catch-pass but we don't seem to be stretching defences or asking questions that lead to line breaks.

New Zealand are the benchmark for this. The speed of the catch-pass, and the lateness in which they pull the trigger continually asks questions.

We haven't tried Beale yet, he can make Paris by Saturday night?

It's time to call on the playmaker who led a clean sweep against the Lions earlier in the year...

Bit of a wasted tour for Gordon, being unavailable for 4 out of the 5 games and coming off injured in the only game he could play. The hubris in only selecting 2 10s in the squad, one of which was injured has really backfired

Hopefully Donno is working on his physicality sitting on his couch though
