Jesus you guys forget the result pretty quick, how many years since we've won Bledisloe. Unacceptable in my books, that game was plum for the taking.

Nah....we were playing in NZ and yeh we lost but was high skilled entertaining game which gave OZ wallaby supporters hope....and that has been missing for some time....

After a Super Rugby season from hell and realising our Oz u20's have consistently been about 5th-8th (read this is cattle coming through)...despite the loss this is a performance to be very proud of....

I'm gonna weigh in with my ramblings:

Retallick should have been given his marching orders in the 1st half. I'm sorry, but I looked at it and that was deliberate.

Apart from that, why the fuck can Foley not kick for shit? Get that Brisbane-based kicking coach in.........cannot remember his name......RedsHappy what was his name again?

Another fucking year. Another fucking false dawn. I hope that Twiggy wins the appeal (though I don't hold out hope) and sues the ARU into the fucking ground.

(As an aside, that 1st 20 mins..........I was at full mast)

I thought Simmons did pretty well tonight. I'm not sage enough to know what was our main issue in the scrum - maybe no Coleman took some torque out of it? Would have been interesting if a Coleman / Simmons pairing started from scrum viewpoint, as Simmons seems to scrum pretty well. Whatever the cause, the road does not get easier as TRC goes on - Saffers then Pumas. Gotta get it solidified.

Alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalatoa packing too high. As evidence:

Exhibit A: Bringing TPN on for Moore changed very little.

Exhibit B: Bringing Kepu shored things up noticeably.

ABs had a much stronger front row this week with Coles and Laulala

I was very critical of the coaches this week, mainly about their defenesive selections.

Glad to see that changed this week, they did what many of us wanted them to do and it paid dividends.. not sure whether it was Gray or Cheika who realised the errors of their way, but glad to see them change. It's a very positive step.. not perfect, but there might be hope yet

So would seriously anybody be calling for coaching changes after that performance...

I was absolutely against Cheika being removed, and larkham being removed imo was not in question, but I would admit was on the grey should be removed.

After that performance I don't think anybody of sane mind would be suggesting a change in coaches....

When you see Beale put in an absolute world class performance like that it is a little hard not to question where it is week in and week out. He showed the talent he has tonight so let's see it more consistently now please!

The whole team lifted. His front on tackle and strip on SBW was a pearler.

But was that it? If he's too high, and they drive through, surely he gets popped? Whereas the whole thing just backtracked.

The defence on Barrets lasr try was shit. Come forward and make contact....dont take the contact.

Must have been Timani or Hanigan because Arnold definitely went off for Rodda.

Was that at the lineout? I was pretty sure Simmons went off for Rodda and Arnold stayed on.

We definatly saw Simmons on the bench after that.

Having said that - stats sites have Simmons playing 80

The writing was on the wall that we weren't going to win with Foley having a shocker with goal kicking. I think he lost the game.

Thats a bit harsh. He had a shocker with the boot but it happens.
Overall they had a go and their defence and defensive structure was outstanding.
I'm glad the coaches read the comments on G&G all week.
