So after we have the numbers on their backs, the question where they move to in D. Something like:

Folau to Wing
DHP to FB
Beale to Wing
Speight to 12/13
Kerevi asked to stand his slot.

It's a waltz. Or a poorly choreographed shemozzle. Take your pick.

And Foley?

7 blind side wingers - let's see the ABs crack that innovation

OK, I'm choking here. Bwahaha, try that you all black opposition. What would you do against a COMPLETELY open open side. Wicked plan IS, but I think we're trying to place 7 and 8 there too.

Payten seems to have a bit of mail:

12. Beale
13. Kerevi
14. DHP (Rona if DHPnot fit)

7. Hooper
8. McMahon

I'm guessing that McMahon will replace Timani early in the second at 8.
Starting with Hanigan and McMahon will be light on for the initial exchanges one would think and Timani has more or less let slip in the press that he will start.
Normally the players would not know until the team is selected who will be where, but in this case with the long prep I reckon Cheika has been running his 23 for a week or so.

Interesting to see if Smith is named in the all black side.
News articles relating to his bathroom buddy and him misleading mgmt.

Edit: A Smith although probably didn't need to clarify

Well I have to admit I didn't see McKenzie getting 15, or Squire getting 6 although that not quite so much of a surprise. Will be most interested to see how at all pans out!

I saw the three unexpected changes (Squire on the blindside, ALB on bench and McKenzie at fullback)on a Reddit thread on Tuesday. I was, however, hesitant to repost here as I thought McKenzie wasn't in the full squad until those tax returns needed to be filed. Needless to say that guy will now have my full confidence on squad leaks/details in the future.

On the side itself, Williams committed a high tackle (another shoulder charge, allegedly) in the Counties B match. So I'm entirely not sure that he won't do something stupid again, unfortunately. Also would've had S.Barrett ahead of Romano and just about anyone ahead of Tu'ungafasi. Excited to see more of Sopoaga in black.

Will be interesting to see which of Barrett or McKenzie will be kicking. I'm guessing they'll start with Barrett and move to McKenzie if he's not kicking well, with the threshold determined by how close the match is (i.e. if it's a close match they'll switch to McKenzie sooner).

I imagine there will be some more changes next week with Dagg and S.Barrett back in the mix. They may start S. Barrett at some point and give Whitelock a rest which is why Romano is in the reserves this week.

Sydney not that much of a happy hunting ground for the All Blacks in the past mind you so I think this will be a close game.

Hate to plug my quizzes but the Sydney is the scene of more All Black losses than any other city.

That means about 1 in 80.
NZ still very big favorites to run away with it in the second half. Hope our boys turn up and give the game a nudge.

The other stat I saw re Bledisloes in Sydney that Beale has started 5 times for 2 wins 2 draws and 1 loss

There was a story on the ABC news about Aaron Smith being in the poo, something to do with his airport nooky business.

Based on what is in the squad I would be keen to see...
1 Sio
2 TPN
3 AAAA
4 Coalface Coleman
5 Arnold
6 Hanigan
8 Timani
9 Genia
10 Foley
11 Speight
12 Meakes
13 Kerevi
14 Folau
15 Beale

16 Moore
17 Cowan
18 Kepu
19 Simmo
20 Mad Dog
21 Phipps
22 Hodge or DHP (whoever is fit)
23 Rona

What I think we will see
1 Sio
2 Moore
3 AAAA
4 Coalface
5 Arnold
6 Hanigan
7 Hooper
8 Mad Dog
9 Genia
10 Foley
11 Speight
12 Beale
13 Kerevi
14 DHP (or Hodge if injured)
15 Folau

16 TPN
17 Robertson
18 Kepu
19 Rodda
20 Hanigan
21 Phipss
22 Rona
23 ?

Also is everyone aware that Cheik's wallabies don't play L and R wingers? I was at the Italy test and it was dead obvious that whoever wears 11 is the "open side" winger who lines up on the wide edge on attack and plays more up in the line on D, whoever wears 14 is the "blind side/2nd 15" winger hovers for inside balls or 2nd man plays in phase attack and drops back with Folau to cover that back field in D (most of the time).

The 14 role for me seems to be exactly how we want to use Folau...

I was sure the 'No Dickheads' policy would apply after A Smith's dirty laundry got aired yesterday - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4787970/Shocking-messages-story-Black-sex-scandal.html

I would have thought lying to your team mates/coaches would be cause for immediate expulsion?

Shag wasn't born yesterday and would have got the full story out of Aaron Smith at the time. No issue this time I'd say but very interesting it gets dredged up again a few days out from a Bledisloe test!

Not convinced by Damian McKenzie at 15. Aussies will definitely be putting their attacking kicks up for the likes of Folau and Haylett Hyphen Petty etc.
