There are actually others. Lebanon. Serbia. Jamaica (not sure, but the mungoes seem to think their code is doing okay there) - Philippines ditto.

Interesting about the Philippines, the only team to compete in a World Cup in any sport was their 7's team at the Sevens World Cup in Moscow earlier in the year. You'd like to think the sport could grow off that.

Also Rugby has a good presence in the West Indies so I can't see league being bigger over there.

The Cook Islands might be another one as their League team gained good exposure at their World Cup.

Interesting you mention that. One of my good mates was the physio to the Phillipines 7's squad and Phillipines National team that competes in the ASN competition.

The team was predominately comprised of Australian and New Zealanders with Phillipino heritage. A number of the team were drawn from the Sydney District and Suburban competitions.

There is a growing national competition - but seemingly it's based off 7's rather than 15's.

Wicks to play Wests Magpies on October 11 at Pirtek Stadium for Starlight Foundation.

The hybrid game is a mixture of rules from both codes with two referees (one from each code) to enforce the laws.
Teams play the ball like rugby league when attacking from their own half but as soon as the side in possession crosses the halfway mark, they play rugby union — including rucks and mauls.
