When we were all picking the first Wallaby team of the year, among the most-selected players were Baxter and (to a lesser extent) Turner. I don't think a single person selected Brown or Chisholm.

We shouldn't adjust our own thinking to fall in line with Robbie's.

One thing is certain, Barnes and Gits don't work at 10 and 12. In either combination. This has been proven time and time again.

Give Ant a go. WTF do we have to lose?

People like to talk about needing experience, but all our senior players have experience of is losing.

Well he does run the risk of becoming next weeks scapegoat if we suffer another hiding

What did Barnes do wrong? I thought he was sound. Giteau played his game well, but it wasnt the type of game required on the night; I think we really missed Coopers long passing game.

I'll through in a wild card and then wait for the dust to settle

8. Waugh

I want someone that plays well against McCaw and someone who is willing to bleed for his side. Waugh does both plus he can link with the backline, a skill I think Pocock still needs work on. Although not providing much in the lineout his commitment at the break down can not be underestimated plus his leadership isn't bad. Run him stupid for 60 and then replace him with Higgenbottom for a last 20 min impact.

i'm assuming you mean metaphorically in this point. dedication to the cause - definite plus. spending 15 mins in the blood bin and then having pirate patch of gauze blocking his vision - not a plus.

It's not Barnes or Gits individually, it's that combination. It doesn't work.

I want a hard running 12 outside our 10, and as Gits is our best Kicker (very sad). I would go with him at 10 until Quade returns.

We'll never know if he's the only one taking kicks. IMO he shouldn't be kicking.

Poor old Berrick, he cant seem to find the form he really needs. Fainga'a is a hard running 12, but he gives away too much size and is pretty one dimensional compared to the AB's centres.

But then again, most of the Wallabies players look dull compared to the Blecks.

JOC (James O'Connor) did fairly well at 5/8 during the year when he played there. What about something like:

10: JOC (James O'Connor)
11: Mitchell
12: Gits
13: A Fainga'a
14: Shepherd
15: AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

I must say I am struggling to see what Turner has done to deserve exile? If we look at this year he scored some good tries, defended very well, was very good under high ball (and kick off-ball!!!!!) and doesn't seem to have brain flatulence. Oh, and he is fit! I can't believe he is not in the mix for the 22.
I realise we have bigger problems, but this struck me as very odd.
13 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Turner and Mitchell on the wings, Shepherd at 15, JOC (James O'Connor) bench.

Is To'omua actually fit? I still think he is a long term 10 reality for us, but is he match fit?

Slow down cowboy. JOC (James O'Connor) was one of our best on Saturday, threatened with every touch. Shepherd hasn't played a high-level game in yonks and an away Bled is not the place to start, especially for a player who is yet to prove his class on the international stage. And don't start on To'omua. I like the guy but he hardly had tongues wagging in the S14. Prefer Halangahu frankly if you want wildly unneeded left-field changes.
