Yeah, he was already training with the squad (you can see him behind Sua'ali'i in an a wallabies instagram post a couple of days ago), which is probably part of why he was the obvious choice for a replacement. I imagine he came into the squad when Daugunu was released to play for the First Nations and Pasifika side, initially as training coverage.Decent replacement, good attitude and goes about his business the right way.
However, did I imagine it, or was he not already sitting in Wallaby kit with the wallabies last night prior to the concussion.
I have to then assume he was already part pf the widwer training group and now upgraded.
Really missed a beat not having him available for either the AUNZ or FNP games to see where he's at. All the talk of the lesser standard of Japan's top league but a quick glance over the Springbok squad for RC and half of them seem to be playing there! It is a shame we don’t really know if Kerevi is still any good or not. Watching them use ikitau as the main crash ball option made me think Kerevi could do a similar thing with more meters, but anyway I think that ship has sailed. I just think they need to give JAS the ball more
Will be interesting to see what coach does with Skelton, lineout was already terrible so Skelton coming in certainly won’t help. It did get better 2nd half not sure if that was anything to do with pollard or they just fixed their issues
Bloke costs too much.Really missed a beat not having him available for either the AUNZ or FNP games to see where he's at. All the talk of the lesser standard of Japan's top league but a quick glance over the Springbok squad for RC and half of them seem to be playing there!
As we now know, he wouldn't have been eligible for FNP either.Bloke costs too much.
There’s a zero chance that happensCalling it now, with a fully fit squad I think we can clean sweep the spring tour.
so you're saying there's a chance...There’s a zero chance that happens
I really don’t think they’re worried at all. Just get through the Wallabies 30-40 mins a game they play and you’ll be able to score 25+ on them in the other.I will say on the Wallabies going forward, I bet the other 3 teams in the RC are feeling a bit of a worry when looking ahead to games against them. As a kiwi and one eyed AB supporter, I am seeing a pretty good Wallaby team that are going to be well set up after this Lions series.
We still let in far too many points. Can't see us being competitive until we fix our defensive system.I will say on the Wallabies going forward, I bet the other 3 teams in the RC are feeling a bit of a worry when looking ahead to games against them. This.Lukhan is the answer for Saturday. I want pure mongrel and disrespect.
With no Skelton for TRC too right?I really don’t think they’re worried at all. Just get through the Wallabies 30-40 mins a game they play and you’ll be able to score 25+ on them in the other.
I reckon most other RC teams will be licking their lips - putting Wobs down for the spoonWe still let in far too many points. Can't see us being competitive until we fix our defensive system.
