Was just thinking that. If they picked Aki you don't mind meeting it.

That said JAS is a big unit. Doesn't look at dense as a guy like Kerevi but he's a big guy. Potter also large and Len isn't small.

My side at the moment (and nothing like what will be selected I know)
1. Bell 2. Matt F 3. AAA 4. Swain 5. Williams 5, Bobby V 7. Fraser 8. Harry Wilson (c) 9. Tate 10. Lynagh 11. Daugunu 12. Len 13. JAS 14. Potter 15. Wright 16. Pollard 17. Slipper 18. TT 19. Hooper 20. Gleeson 21. Jake 22. Donaldson 23. Jorgo
Plenty of risks, but this is just going all out to win.

I think the big question with Kerevi is whether his body is right. At the World Cup he was coming off injury and appeared clearly still impacted. He was a shadow of his former self.

But he is only 32. To me it is likely he is capable of getting back to full fitness without any lingering issues. That was the big thing I was looking for on the EOYT and I think he showed that. And I am encouraged by his apparent form in Japan.

At his best he was nominated for World player of the year. Aside from Ikitau none of the other players we have are close to that mark. The only issue it creates is where you put sone of the other players. That is the kind of problem I’d love for us to have.

JAS is better suited to 11 IMO anyway. Not that big of an issue.

It resolves the entire backline except for 10.

Tend to think at this point Lynagh can be fine with the weapons around him. Kick his goals and his pretty low on the error count.

Donaldson showed pressure is his enemy as he leans towards the risky pass over taking the hit and starting again.

Noah is the unknown. Hopefully he’s fully healthy for his sake and I reckon he’s still Schmidt’s first choice.

Rather than looking at highlight reels, the stats tell a story too ......

Donaldson has a few good numbers like run meters but some like that probably screw Lynagh as the pass to 12 for a crash is their game plan. Lynagh has a very impressive line break numbers for the amount of runs…

In the ones that really tell you something about their pure execution Donaldson has dramatically worse missed tackles and handling errors. Can we afford those? Maybe as a bench utility.

Not great reading for Noah who did look disinterested at times.

Also Lynagh working behind a stronger pack, less pressure than Donaldson.

Fantastic, we can’t just blame the forwards for Donaldsons issues then.

I guess if he has a lesser pack like you said we can dismiss his kicking stats as he probably has to boot it away more from his own half??
