Absolutely. I don't think it's unreasonable that he isn't getting picked. We're a bit spoiled for choice at the moment.

It just feels like he has been very close for a while and it isn't necessarily going to come. With the amount of media he's done this week I thought it was likely to happen against Fiji.

He actually looked pretty good when playing for the Rebels though, and wasn't a bad option last year when he earned his cap... but like Kailea, moving to NSW has sent him in reverse

That aside, Potter, Pietsch, Daugunu, Jorgense and Kellaway are all good competition this year, none are perfect but i'd be ok with any variety of those players chosen at test level.

Watching last nights game I think the Wallabies need to pick Potter and Daugunu on the wings with Jorgo as an impact player for the last 20-25 mins.

The side needs experienced bigger bodies out there to stop the meters. Jorgo is a good defender but can be a good asset off the bench with his speed and magic. Anderson is no mug but van der Merwe was shoving him around. Can't be starting Kellaway who is a well rounded player but not a dominant presence. Wobs will need JAS, Daugunu, Potter to do some bash up work for guys like Len and Wright to be crafty.

Aki and VDM won't start for the Lions. Hansen and Lowe will be the wingers, maybe Freeman. Aki's played himself out of a jersey, it'll be Sione and Ringrose I think. But yes size issues remain. Fullback has become an issue now for them, Daly will be out, not sure what Keenan's status is. Shouldn't matter too much because Kinghorn is an absolute freak.

Agree on Sione, Ringrose and Lowe. Not sure about Hansen with how Freeman and Duhan looked.

Hansen likely gets a shot v the Tahs to push for it.

There was some huge kicks from the Lions last night so we definitely need to be strong in the air. I do worry about the midgets in Jorgesen and Kellaway being able to get high enough against Lowe and Hansen.

Not giving Wright the 15? I think we absolutely need him in the 15. Good boot and a strike weapon. He also gives the 10 another guy to lean on as he can step into first receiver and JAS can't.

Ikitau and Sua'ali to swap in defence. JAS take the bigger body as hes 196cm and 100kg and Len more experienced in the 13 channel.

Pietsch did himself a heap of favours in his showing v the Lions so wouldn't be opposed to him taking Potters spot but Daugunu has to be there. Impact on both sides of the ball.

For Wallabies I think only Pietsch and Paisami have made their case. Others were decent but not enough the crack the 23. Fez was quiet but hoping he can keep improving. Salakaia-Loto was good but still not enough to shift the current locks. Brial wouldn't look out of place on an EoYT. Genuine smokey could be Ross.

Fez did well considering the long lay off he's had with injury. The lungs would have been hurting to get back into it v the Lions. Set piece was strong so he will be a strong chance of joining the squad.

Brial was very good. Back end of the year he's really come into his own which is huge with the cloud over Wrights future. Definitely not out of place going on tour like you say.

LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is a chance if Frost gets sat on his ass a few times but also a victim of Skelton and the fact they can't carry 2 units like that.

I find Salakaia-Loto way too passive in defense as well which is funny given his size. He runs well but for me isn't that much better a defender than Frost. I'd rate Smith & Blyth has better than him in D.

Probably has Swain in front of him also. Given the strength of the Force lineout LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) might not meet requirement right now.

I'd be completely fine with Smith in the Wallabies. Hard nosed work horse.

Yeah, but if I was Toole I would feel a bit aggrieved being the only good winger in Australia that cant even get 1 cap

Yeah good point - that's the hangover and lack of sleep missing him. So I'd slot him at 15 and put JAS to wing. But with Kerevi not even training with the squad, I can see your backline as being the more of a possibility.
