He needs to change his surname, though.A guy like Flook will take any spot Wright would have a crack at.
He covers more positions and also has the natural ability others don’t.
If Jones does go, who in the World could they get to replace him?View attachment 17675

I'd love Joe Schmidt. If Jones does go, who in the World could they get to replace him?
Out of the frying pan and into the fire it seems
Schmidt, MacKellar, Friend in that orderIf Jones does go, who in the World could they get to replace him?

If we were going to be paying Jones $1m/year, from a purely financial standpoint, we could try and get anyone. Not that it's going to solve much. But, probably someone with experience in a centralised system would be preferred.
Is this just sunk cost fallacy?I hope that Jones doesn't go because he hasn't even been in the job for 12 months yet and that isn't enough time to be able to make positive change - unfortunately all the change so far have been negative!! I do think he can make a positive difference if he stays but if he does want to go we should say "don't let the door whack you on the arse on the way out!!" and we put a black mark through his name and never mention him again.... EVER!!
Is it really so wrong to not want your game owned by middle eastern oil/gas barons who indulge in human slavery?geez just imagine the moral police if this one went through, they might even not attended wobs tests oh wait they already dont

RA need to get McKellar and Friend back involved in Aussie rugby ASAP.Schmidt, MacKellar, Friend in that order
It doesn't need to be owned by anyone. Australian rugby needs to find some cash somehow, and we can't rely on Eddie Jones like a lot of idiots think. Is it really so wrong to not want your game owned by middle eastern oil/gas barons who indulge in human slavery?
McKellar was already an assistant in this position and was passed over for Jones, he then got offered a head coach role overseas that is much better than sitting as an assistant to Jones.Rugby Australia need to get McKellar and Friend back involved in Aussie rugby ASAP.
I'd have Friend in a DOR or High-Performance capacity with McKellar as Wallabies Assistant and a clear pathway to HC after X amount of years.
