David Nuicifora has built an incredibly effective development system, has maximized returns with a small pool of players & enhanced the nation's overall depth ten-fold. He is the genius that Australian rugby don't deserve. His achievements with Ireland will almost certainly endure longer than anything Eddie has overseen...I disagree with the comments RE the lack of talent in Australian Rugby. Rather, it's poor development and coaching across the board. There is no way Ireland has a greater talent pool—case in point - Mac Hansen. He was hardly a world-beater at the Brums, but given the right development and proper system(s), he is one of world rugby's best wingers. The vast majority of Irish players come from a handful of schools - not too dissimilar to our catchment. I'm not condoning this narrow selection, but rather, it shows that it is possible to develop talent even as a minor sport.
The Carter Gordon only experiment is officially a failure. Not on him BTW and hope he can recover and is not thrown on the scrap heap.Morne Steyn?
What does that have to do with throwing Morne Steyn in with Dan Carter and Jonny WilkinsonThe Carter Gordon only experiment is officially a failure. Not on him BTW and hope he can recover and is not thrown on the scrap heap.
In one week, Lost his mullet and his starting lineupTo illustrate, here is the Irish team with their school The Carter Gordon only experiment is officially a failure. Not on him BTW and hope he can recover and is not thrown on the scrap heap.
Surely, securing his services is the number 1 priority for RA going forward. I know that would assume some level of rationality on their behalf...David Nuicifora has built an incredibly effective development system, has maximized returns with a small pool of players & enhanced the nation's overall depth ten-fold. Given they have announced the centralised model will go ahead, I do hope they get him on board in some consultancy role.I have read somewhere that he has been approached and declined to negotiate. True or not, I do not know.
It has been said on numerous occasions in these forii that he has definitely declined to have anything to do with the Wallabies - and this is from interviews with him not just people on GAGR making stuff upSurely, securing his services is the number 1 priority for Rugby Australia going forward. Don’t blame himNucifora is apparently not interested...

No it doesn't. It needed a cleanout 15 years ago. The blokes in there now are fine (giant EJ (Eddie Jones) shaped fuckup aside). You guys don't understand, the board needs a complete clean out. And no it's not trolling to say that.
You’re optimisticafter Australia crashes out in the quarters...
Older 10s that steer their countries to decent RWC results……………and can kick goals at 90%. Show me a 3 test rookie who has done the same?Morne Steyn?
What World Cup has Morne Steyn ever steered anyone to?Older 10s that steer their countries to decent RWC results……………and can kick goals at 90%. Show me a 3 test rookie who has done the same?
