To be honest, it will be pretty hard not to qualify from the pool Wallabies are in, so will have 3 games to build for QFs and as it knock out from there, I see no reason a semi-final at least isn't a real possibility, and as I haven't looked at likely opponents even a final? There is definitely a weaker and stronger side to draw in the comp isn't there with top , you have France,Ireland, SA, NZ on one side and Poms , Wales , Wallabies, Argentina on other side, so you would think on form only Poms that would worry Wallabies?

Nick Bishop weights in on the Wallabies 2023 world cup squad:

Brandon Paenga-Amosa (O)* is playing some his best footy in France. He is the strongest scrumming hooker available and currently tops the league in takeaways at the breakdown, with 10 pilfers after ten rounds of the Top 14.

Not sure if those locks will be the answer, Arnold is solid, but no better than the current Pony units whilst Rodda needs to play a bit and demonstrate some form

Ye BPA should be brought back for the RC games.
Tolu Latu is another tempting possibility, but I'm quite content with Porecki & BPA in the top 23.

I'd be taking BPA, T.Hooper, Gamble, Perese for 2023 WC at expense of Fainga'a, Hanigan, McReight, Paisami.

Some positivity from the Spring Tour...

Nick Frost and Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase)...

These guys are nailed on starters going forward.

The squad that I would like to see selected for France 2023.

Props, Allan A, Slipper, Tupou, Bell, Pone and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes).
Hookers, Porecki, Rangi and Kaitu’u.
Locks, Rodda, Phillip, Frost and Skelton.
Blindside, Swinton and Holloway.
Openside, Hooper and Samu.
Eight, Valetini and Wilson.
Half, White, McDermott and IFL.
Ten, Cooper and Lolesio.
Centres, Kerevi, Ikatau, Foketi and Petaia.
Back three, Mark N (Nawaqanitawase), Koriobete, Kellaway, Wright and Beale.

There are four overseas picks in that team, but I have a feeling that Kerevi will sign to play back in Australia. Either with the Force or Rebels.

A playing group that in the main has a lot of international experience, And generally well disciplined.

Dont think HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes), Wilson, IFL, Lolesio or Beale will be there. Beale …. had his day.

There are a couple of fifty/fifty calls in there. I believe it is time to give an opportunity to IFL and Lolesio, Gordon and Foley didn’t make the most of their opportunities on the Northern tour. Maybe swap Donaldson in and Beale out.
Not 100% confident in our fullback depth, Kellaway may be our best option.
