Wilson is better than all of them one game into his career.
He was pretty good, but not that good.........
But I would pin him as the only uncapped backrower to get a look in this year.

What about Hamish Stewart?

Isn't he an 8?
And on Wilson, not having watched any Super Rugby last weekend or really seen much of him, what's he like in the lineout? Sounds like the prototype 8 we've been looking for from what I read.

You don't chuck multiple stupid passes and be "better" than any of them, he highlighted ability with major flaws
He wasn't in the first round, Samu played better. But his a talent, but 4 turn overs didn't cover him in glory. He will get better though.
Yes, of course, players who can get their arms free in contact and throw passes is a terrible skillset. We should tell him to stop doing that. Good observation as always Fat one.

Whilst it’s good fun to speculate, it’s really nothing more than that.
Wilson’s round 1 turnovers won’t count against him anymore than Sio’s scrumming performance will against him.
If he’s still doing them at the back end then there’ll be a problem. Hopefully he’s still making the offloads but hitting support runners.

So not so much the 8 the Wallabies have been looking for?I don't think he'll be that strong running the ball. I think his closest analog is probably Higgers.

Agreed, we have seen a load of new kids play who have potential, but like most Aus players, they all have shown "flaws" so far
