I don't think they officially announced the squad in training last week but I know he was a part of it.

There's a named squad, and there are players who seem to be called in to train. Probably some to make up numbers, maybe a few who are on the periphery they want to keep an eye in in case. In any event plenty of players have been at the "squad" training at times. I wouldn't read much into it.

Bit of redundancy if someone gets injured. They will have an understudy who knows the plays, calls and strategy ready to cover every player in the squad

I look at the squad of 35 players selected for Bledisloe and can't help and feel a lot to be positive about the talent available for the Wallabies in terms of new options and old options in very good form.

Props - some of the best in the world.
Locks - Arnold in superb form, Simmons been back to his best, and Rodda despite recent form been off still been overall in tests so far pretty good
Hookers - Folau and Latu for me great options - Latu in particularly if can sort out his discipline with his work at the breakdown playing really good footy.
Backrow - Lots of good options there with Isi looking finally to solve the 8 option and with Samu in such good form but still struggling to find a place in match day 23 for him is a good sign.
9 - We have genuine competition with White now as opposed to Genia and daylight
10 - same again with Lilo now giving some real competition for 10 with Foley
Centres - Samu at 12 and hopefully JOC (James O'Connor) can prove to be good backup 12 option in case of injury while Petaia as potential 13 backup option. Even AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 to my mind not such a bad backup option for experience and ability to perform on the big stage.
Wings - hmmm - one area of concerns I guess in absence of specialist wingers - probably only real area of concern for me. I don't actually know exactly what the answers are here as don't seem to have any world class options here.
Fullback - Beale so far looking good option at the back.

Coleman in front of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) on the bench. Can add serious grunt and make an impact. He also is a good option to play out the whole game if a lock goes down early.
I think Cheika will bring him back in this week or the next.

Coleman in front of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) on the bench. .

Lukhan gives you cover for both a lock and a backrower, otherwise if you run Pocock as the only cover for the backrow and either Peter or Naisarani go down, we're back to 3 jumpers and stuck with the same issue we found with the Pooper.

Absolutely. I’ve never thought there was as a player quality problem. Begs other questions though.

Foley will be there as well if JOC (James O'Connor) not up to playing 10. CLL not the biggest bloke and vulnerable to injury.

Yep, I cannot see them relying on Beale or O'Connor to play 10, especially if Leali'ifano got injured early in a game, for example. I think it is likely both Leali'ifano and Foley will be in the 23. Someone will be a utility that covers some back 3 or even centre positions. And a reserve 9.
