The Wallabies have posted photos from the Brisbane camp on Facebook.

Of players who haven't been otherwise reported and potentially a little surprising: Jake Gordon, Harry Hockings, Jermaine Ainsley and Tom Banks.

Also, has Luke Jones had a bit of Advanced Hair action in the last few weeks?

Not surprised by Ainsley. With all props fit and available for selection hes not in the mix. Hockings will be a good chance in tv h ed future. Banks and Gordon show promise but haven't demanded selection. Luke looks to have taken the lead off my favorite Victorian Sportsman:)

Isn't BH saying those four players are there?

I reckon Pulu is actually a fair chance of a cap.

Ainsley must be at least 5th choice though.

I think that's being generous, unless you're saying 5th choice for that one side of the scrum? Then I would agree.........

Sio, Slipper, Ala'alatoa, Kepu, Tupou would be my five for the RWC, followed by Robertson, and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) the smokey.

Anyways, there's a lot of players being invited to these training camps, so I wouldn't read too much into it............ if there's any injuries they're going to want anyone coming into the squad to be up to speed.

I’m not sure how much we should actually lose sleep over the Wallabies training selections, but leaving Pete Samu out is looking a bit silly right at the moment - especially with Pocock injured.

Yeah, Samu has been massive tonight. Plus, he's actually been in a team that's won something, which is rare currency in the Wallabies atm.

My backrow contingent -

6. Jones/Dempsey
7. Hooper/Cock
8. Naisirani/McCaffrey

Samu to be the extra backrower in the squad.

I know McCaffrey was good before injury, but I would have Samu in front of him at 8 and potentially in front of Naisarani too. He has everything you need in an 8 - very good in contact, good link player, excellent at the breakdown, useful in the line out and strong defender. And that is from someone who thought Samu was overrated initially.

I like Naisirani too - but i would like to see Samu given a chop in the Wallabies 8 jersey. I’d also have Salakaia-Loto firmly in the mix at 6.

That's 7, when there is a fair chance it will be 5 (if they take 3 hookers and 3 scrumhalves)

I'll say it quietly, but we might just have some good competition for places atm! Seem to have quietly acquired a pretty handy pack (in theory)

My position changes if Pocock is fit. I don’t think you can play Samu, Hooper & Pocock in the one side - which does make it tricky from a squad point of view, but squad balancing is always an art.

I would only take 2 half backs but and yes three hookers

For me starting locks and back row

4 Arnold
5 Rodda
6 Jones
7 hooper
8 nasarini

Bench if go 6/2
Simmons
Pocock (if Pocock not fit - samu)
LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)

If 5/2 bench - LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) probably misses out
