yeah look avoiding scores ain't possible for me. As a millennial/Gen Z (is that a thing?)/slave to technology; I'd cease to exist without social media and the internet.

Also surely the correct option is to go out on the town, return just in time with a kebab or three in hand, appropriately lubricated to abuse the ref and opposition. And as BH81 suggests, complain online with many errors which you'll sheepishly delete the next morning.

Only downside is you'll miss a bit of play with frequent dashes to syphon the python.

No it’s not a substantial risk. It does come down to strategy though IF we are still running the bench as “finishers” there may be other issues in play.

I’d be happy with a 6/2 bench though, if it’s handled well.

You just feel bad for the 2nd back sub. You practically have to sub your halfback at 60 (65 at the latest) nowadays. So the other bloke can't really play minutes.

If Kerevi starts, which some are suggesting is likely, and Hunt is on the bench I'd prefer 5-3. Hunt needs a bit more proper game time aside from the Barbarians match, bit of a waste just having him sitting on the bench getting splinters in his arse in case someone gets injured. Ideally if we're up by a few he can come on in the last 15-20 and see us home.

Look, I love Samu but right now I’d prefer a Hunt/Beale 12/15 combo (in whatever order) to starting Kerevi.

Why depart from a pretty good formula more than necessary?

Samu had an ok Super Rugby season but injury then a poor performance meant a starting jersey slipped away from him. Neither injury nor form gods have conspired to offer him another opportunity. I understand that he’s devastating in attack when on song (and that he’s one of Cheik’s faves) but seriously, surely it should be a situation of try take the 13 jersey back in Super Rugby 2018 rather than shoe horn him in and mess with the best and most consistent 3/4 line combo we’ve had in years.

I think part of it is that Hunt has spent plenty of time out injured and played very little football.

The same was also probably a strong reason why Kerevi did so poorly at the start of the Rugby Championship before being dropped.

Hunt may well replace Kerevi after this match but starting Kerevi and bringing Hunt in off the bench seems reasonable.

Could be that Cheika wants Kerevi to add some spark in the attack in place of Folau?
Either way is fine but Hunt 12 with KB (Kurtley Beale) at 15 looks pretty good to me and I hope we see that for the Poms.
