Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

If we win this, then it's a successful tour, lose and our sweet English victory starts to fade. Also, we have the chance to make Wales 10 game losing streak longer and for them to have their first winless season in a hundred years.

Normally after such a good game I would advocate stick with the same team. But the injuries and limited window for Skelton/Kerevi force my hand.

Same team but Pietsch and Wilson drop out. Jorgensen to wing, Kerevi to bench spot. Gleeson takes Wilson's spot, Skelton to bench. Salakaia-Loto remains on the bench and is backrow cover.

Actually, Slipper out too, gotta blood the young'ens.

I don't think Gleeson is up to starting yet, he really struggled when trying to go for a full 80 (or anything beyond 60) in super this year and I worry he'll go missing for large stints if he's asked to start and play 60 or so. Could be a chance for Uru to come in, but if they are keen to see more of Williams at 6 than this game is probably the place to try it.

Is anything confirmed on Pietsch and Wilson?
Pietsch looked upset he was taken off and certainly didn't look in Disneyland. I reckon it was close to time to bring on Jorgo anyway but I don't think we heard if he failed his HIA or not.

Wilson

Phil Kearns (64)
Figured as much, but did we ever get confirmation that he was a Criteria 1 (which he did seem to be) or failed an off field assessment?
Not specifically, but the wallabies instagram account has him as symptom free and going through return to play protocol, so he should be on track to return for the Scotland game

Pietsch was a calf cork, not an HIA. Expected to be back but we'll probably know more in a day or two.

I personally think that Kellaway must go he seems to always be missing tackles

Wilson definitely misses 1 match, Pietsch apparently should be okay after going off with a cork.

Do we know any injuries from the Wales v Fiji game?
Looks like Mason Grady went off with an ankle injury in the first half and didn't return, but unclear on severity

For me:

1. Bell
2. Faesslar
3. Tupou
4. Frost
5. Skelton
6. Williams
7. McReight
8. Valetini
9. Gordon
10. Lolesio
11. Jorgensen (assuming Pietsch is missing)
12. Ikitau
13. Sua'ali'i
14. Kellaway
15. Wright

16. Paenga-Amosa
17. Kailea
18. Ala'alatoa
19. Salakai-Loto
20. Gleeson
21. McDermott
22. Donaldson
23. Kerevi

Would expect the team to reshuffle again once Wilson is back for Scotland.

If Wilson is out, I don't think you can bring in Gleeson with Bobby V for a full match. Gleeson is on paper 7cm's shorter than Wilson and I would say even more given Langi has quite a bit of hair on his head compared to the balding Wilson.

I would be going Uru at 6 and Bobby V and 8 along with Skelton at 5.

Time to put the foot on the throat here and make a statement..
1. for the Lions tour next year.
2. to ram it down the arrogant British dribbler's throats.

Fuck I love beating England. Shit winners, worse losers and generally shit.
Couldn't have said it any better crashy. This tour has to be a big one for the preparation for the upcoming Lions tour. I think against Wales it may be worth blooding a few players as the next time they pull the jersey will be Lions after spring tour.

We need to be ruthless this week and given the state of our maul defence against Wales earlier this year (really their only route to the try line), I'd be thinking hard about bringing Skelton in. With Harry out we also need to think about shifting Bobby to eight and who takes the third back row spot.

LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) + Skelton in the second row and Williams to 6 maybe?
