I'm not pessimistic, just realistic: we'll need to go up a few gears before Scotland if we want to keep this Grand Slam alive.

When we had the ball in the first half, we looked magic. When we didn't, we looked poor.

Second half better overall, but this isn't a great (or even good) Welsh team by any standard.

Scrum: lost
Lineout: won
Ruck: won
Maul: won ++
Discipline: lost

I thought Donaldson might have had a bit more game time given we were up by 20 with 20 to go.

Man said earlier us Australian fans are delusional.. went in the signed jersey thing on Stan 99 percent of Stan users think we take the Scots.. totally wild to me..

It’s an amazing turn around in sentiment/mood compared to only two weeks ago before the England test.

As always we weren’t as bad as it was made out then and probably aren’t as good as we are suddenly feeling now but I’m happy to be guilty of some over exuberance at this point in time.

Yeah the amount of press coverage is 2000 esque. Suddenly everyone seems to be talking rugby. A large chunk of Aus actually likes the game it would appear. If the head of DV / jail rugby is complaining that the press is too rugby-centric then we're doing something right. I love the squealing we're hearing.
Stupid fluffybunny.

You rate Wilson as an international quality primary jumper? I'd suggest that is a big call. In all likelhood with Skelton WIlson is bench (or wider squad), Valetini #8 and the likes of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Uru, at #6.
Wilson is the Wallaby captain

Credit to Nonggorr for locking the scrum up really well when he came on. He’s light years better than AAA in that department

Because it was innocuous. That type of head contact occurs every match (as it did multiple other times in this match). The bar is too low and its application is so inconsistent as to be a complete lottery.
Agreed. A big unit like Kerevi makes that tackle; yellow to red. Corey Toole or Tate McDermott makes the same tackle; less impact, less chance of harm, lesser penalty on the individual/team.

Pfitzy. Totally agree. At 19 nil up we did’t go for the jugular and we let them back in.. look sure we ran away on the scoreboard by the end but I think it was flattering to us. Scotland will be much tougher and won’t be easy at Murrayfield.
I thought exactly the same re Donaldson, although I think with Tate on for White, who had a HIA and Kerevi sent off, Donaldson was the only back reserve left.. ie White or Kerevi could not come back on. Hence maybe that’s why? I still don’t think Noah is outstandingly better by any means.

I think that camera operator was drunk, zooming in and out, then back in, over panning shots. It was amateur.
It was down to the director and/or vision mixer. Director calls the (camera) coverage he wants, vision mixer punches in that coverage. From the look of it, the vision mixer was having a shocker, punching in the wrong coverage.

Wales must absolutely hate playing him; that try he scored in June from his own 22, is a menace and it's good to see that his showing the talent we all knew he had.

Kellaway had his best game to for while, starting to show the form he had when he first burst on to the scene. Winning makes everything better
