Glorious day in the Tron, hopefully at least some of the people watching NZ beat up Bangladesh in the cricket (234 & 50/0 plays 715/6d mid way through Day 3) wander up t'other end of Seddon Rd for Tribe v 'wolves.

100th Super Rugby cap for Lurch who was not only born in CruSadists territory* but is also a nephew of legendary/ filthy (if you're a Welsh person of a certain vintage) Catab/ AB prop John Ashworth.

* & in pre-match interview admitted he grew up dreaming of being a CruSadist (don't we all?).

'wolves 13 looks to have a broken ankle, medicabed off & sucking hard on the green pen with a shiteload of bandaging on his lower leg. Hopefully his wait-time at Waikato Hospital is less than the standard-for-a-Saturday-night six hours (speaking from multiple experience (not all of them mine) here).

I'm maybe gunna have to start calling these guys the Lost Tribe 'cos fuck me right now they don't seem to have a fucking clue which way is up let alone where the try line is. Not taking anything away from 'wolves but Tribe are just fucking awful.

KOB1987

John Eales (66)
Well this is kinda putting some perspective into the Tahs and Brumbies performances from last week..so far at least anyway.

Tim Horan (67)
Agreed, Chiefs look absolutely clueless. Sunwolves have been great, but how hard is it to defend round the ruck.
McKenzie has been shit, no sense for the game.

van den Heever? Yeah, he was hanging in the Fantasy Rugby Draft comp Reg organised so I nabbed him. And I got Parker too, the Sunwolves players were basically friendless :D
Little, Parker, and he would all net you fantasy points. Although I think their biggest improvements have come in their pack, so many powerful runners.

John Thornett (49)
Typical. Another NZ franchise stealing the Blues spot in history. Now we'll just have to make do with being the second NZ side to lose at home to the Sunwolves.

I’ve been surprised how anonymous Retallick has been these last couple of games. McKenzie is also all at sea without Charlie Ngatai smashing through the opposition’s midfield.
