Well done to the Tahs 16s. Dominant team all year. Never looked like losing a game. QLD didn’t pack it in by any means.

Question for the Queenslanders. Is there an issue in the development groups? I’m happy to always see NSW knock over QLD but this year from u15s - u19s there’s been 9 games from what I can remember and 9 wins to NSW. From an Australian perspective it’s not great.

Has NSW figured out the youth system? Yes they have big numbers but it hasn’t always been this way.

Holding onto them will still be the big issue.

NSW just does slightly better than QLD at combatting thugby league.

If we actually worked out an objectively successful youth program we wouldn't be getting embarrassed on the world stage. I feel like our junior wallabies are historically more successful than our real wallabies in recent times, but still not as good as we should be doing with the talent we lose to thugby league, and to a lesser extent AFL.

28-14 to the Brumbies

As a Tahs fan, I will be rooting for the Brumbies.

Firstly, because in the 2 years of this competition, all 3 winners have been a Tahs team. That's boring and not a good reflection of rugby in Australia.

Secondly, would love to reply stick it to these Uni/Randwick selectors that seem to always get the representative coaching jobs, and shamelessly force as many of their players in the team as possible. Think we've seen that this year with uni.

Good point re league but it’s the 15s, 16s that are getting done the easiest it seems. I can get it in 18s and 19s the most when these sides are recruited over development.

No reason for the fullback to commit there. Needed to trust the inside man. We've discussed that this age group is really lacking fundamental skills like catch and pass etc. but I think it's also very evident with the defensive stuff. A lot of tackles not sticking, and a lot of poor reads.
