I agree with you but in this scenario, do you think it's fair to award a try after they were crawling along the floor and jumping off the floor for a try? After he was tackled?
It can be hard for a ref to identify whether momentem is carring a body over the line or its the player himself crawling over. Especially with when there are many involved in the tackle, which is quite often the case. If the Ref is unsure the correct sanction is a scrum to the attacking team, obviously in the case the ref awarded a try. Its a grey area however as there is no specification in the laws.

The video clearly shows the Scots "attempted tackler" lost contact with the Kings ball carriers foot as he falls to the ground 50cm from the try line. The Kings player was untouched so free to continue his forward momentum to score the try. He bounced forward. The mature referee was 2m away and correctly awarded the try. Law 14.3 states a success tackle requires the ball carrier to be held. You removed that bit from the insert above.
Jesus christ whatever you say champ, still 3 penalty's right in front of the post? Which won the game? Can't deny these.

Obviously the discipline is lacking at Scot's, weather the penalties were fair or not they must have been for something and three probably means that their was no response from the Scot's team. Rookie error really, don't give away penalties in your own 22, even worse three!

Let’s keep discussion on topic, positive vs negative. It’s 16s schoolboy rugby at the end of the day. Threads are getting shut.
At the moment sounds like a dad getting successfully baited by a schoolboy.
Kings strength in this age group would be their tight five but suck it up if scrums are uncontested.
I did not think the Kings v Scots game was particularly high quality but thought the better team won and they probably got the rub of the green from the ref but nothing untoward.

A big improvement from the shore 16A's last weekend. At previous meetings, the joeys boys have piled points on the blue and white boys. Anyone have a run down on how the game proceeded?
Joeys scored a try in the first 2 minutes, then scored one after half time and a penalty goal to finish, SHORE couldn't hold the ball, and it very much limited their attacking opportunities.

Yes, I’ve heard this is quite a strong age group. I was lucky enough to watch the first and second and absolutely amazed by the talent of the yr 10s. Finn Hannon and Eddy Garcia Woods are exceptional footy players, both having tremendous games.
They are quite excpetional arent they, Julian Minto aswell. Seriously those Joeys Boys must be getting fed something different! "Theres gotta be a Investigation".

Not sure about the other schools
Can't agree more with this statement although i feel like we are missing some key barker players such as jack Hargreaves he was deadly when he came on the field for the 16As. Definitely could see him coming off the bench for CAS team.
