Must say I'd love to play just one game of rugby again. The good thing about having kids is doing all the things you did as a kid, all over again. Only this time you do it better as a supporter and advice giver. My first one I spent a lot of time with him on the practise fields and backyard practising skills. The youngest one I can only play cricket in the backyard. Rugby is out, even touchies and I miss it a lot.

That is one of the greatest gifts and rewards we get as a dad - doing it all again for and with our kids. God bless them.

The boys from the Colosseum are talking it up and want a piece of the action. Do we need a warm up game to get the cobwebs out of the system ?

Are they actually capable of learning how to tie their bootlaces? :nta:

Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth eh? With the average age of the current lineup approaching "Methuselah" we might need unlimited interchange :)

There's only about 4 of them, naz. I think even that TYS side listed could take them on.

Could we use them as some sort of human shield against Bart and Redbeard?

We do need some stiffening in the engine room, so I think we might need to get them on board. Send out the message to gothetahs and the force as well.

Would love a run around, but am yet again crippled with a long-term ankle injury I picked up at the end of this season.

So put me down to play the position of Daniel Heenan.

Sorry - naza already picked that one up. No wait, looking at my notes he wanted to be Dan Heenan's shorts if we could get the tour happening. I'd pick something else :)

Lindommer - what about bringing along your lad who just finished school? He'll be our youth element!

He's in, at second row.

My old club, Wagga Waratahs, had a thirsty thirds this year with an average age in the forwards of about 40. They're all over 36 bar one, who's 18; there's a precedent of a lot of old lags leading a young bloke astray.

We've got old busted people at second row - how's his form on the wing or in the centres?

Nick, he's 6'3" and runs like a giraffe. He's a very good lineout technician andclinical at the breakdown especially defensive ones. Now where would you put him? ??? ??? ???

Move him to blindside breakaway.

This will be the first team cyclopath and I have played in together since 1979!

Mind you, I still think we'll need to get a few other forums on board when push comes to shove and we all have to buy tickets to New Zealand.

Who could sponsor us? Leuko tape?

Put me down for blindside & captain.

Naffi tried to get in on the Colo side but failed too....poor naza, does nobody wooves you anymore!

The Colo is up for a match, 3, 3 minute 3rds.....

We only get issued a certain amount of breaths in a lifetime, no use wasting it on belting each other too much when in fact there is liquor in the cabinet...

Well, the obvious cheap gag in light of the average age would be Viagra...or All Bran!

The good news I just remembered - Bart can't play anymore. Got concussed one time too often. Front row for the Fern will probably be RB at LH  TB TH - which is okay, as he's fat and ancient - and Duluth hooker.

Nicholas - any comments...? ;)
