Right - upon someone else suggesting TYS does a tour of NZ for RWC2011, another bright spark Major Spliff Biggins suggested we get together a team and challenge the Ferners.

Now this is a thoroughly interesting idea, given that the larger population of TSF will probably be flying back from London for the event 8)

By then I think I'll qualify for Golden Oldies so we could make it one of those events.

So right now, lets put our hands up for positions - I will play anywhere in the front row.

1 fatprop
2 formeropenside
3 NTA
4 Aussie D
5 (& Waterboy) Naza
6 Lindommer Junior
7 Blue - we're playing left and right flankers here bru.
8 Cutter
9 Oom Paarl
10 cyclopath
11 Ash
12 Noddy
13 Scarfman
14 Grandmaster Flash
15 Lindommer

16 Thomond - all this talk of your busted frame worries me Oirish ...

I should add - anyone who wants to play front row better know their shit. If TSF put a team together they'll have some pretty handy props and hookers available - some of these blokes have played provincial!

Of course it may just end up a game of modified touch :)

No 16, unless I lose 10kg and 10 years and can be a flying openside again.

Well, I played every position in the backs (although loved some less!) and a few in the forwards, but Noddy got the jump on me for my favourite no 12.
I'd love to have a crack at 10, but better put me down for 15.
And I already qualify for Golden Oldies easily. Must go off and start stretching the hammies - cycling's all well and good for fitness but a bugger for running!!

Jessie Cyc, we would make a mean skakelpaar (9&10). :angryfire:

Depends how fucked I am by that stage, which at the moment is looking very. Blindside, maybe openside, but don't expect me to link. Can also play second row.

By the way, the front row from the Fern will include RB, and he can fucking scrummage, so don't dick around.

I'll know the way to deal with him, wont take much convincing him to play for us. :thumb

Started my football career in Aussie Rules as a small tacker so I've always been handed the 15 jumper. You can take 10, Pedallist. But if you need a ref, I'm your man; plan to keep on whistling until I'm 60.

oh sorry, are we doing actual positions we played?

No - positions you'd LIKE to play. So your selection at 12 is perfect: no responsibility for running things and only half the tackling our flyhalf will face :)

This is looking so Aussie - everyone's a farkin back!

The backrow and inside backs are filled - need some wingers now. Bit light on tight five players and Oirish is right - if we can't get RB to defect we're going to have issues. I think a case of Waikato ought to do it - factor it into your itineraries and travel costs gentlemen.

Seeing as how no-one wants to be a donkey, I've promoted naza from waterboy to blindside.

Where do fatprop and formeropenside play?

And yes - get Redbeard's number. Wouldn't like to face him and Bartman in the front row. You might have to take a red card for the team and break someone's jaw, Nick.

Am gutted that I missed the team but can be counted on to put my hand up as physio of the cheerleaders. .
