TT Rd 5: NSFW Waratahs vs Chiefs

Dismal Pillock

Michael Lynagh (62)
Wainui with 5, not bad. I remember Sivivatu's match when he got 4, he was utterly unplayable that night in the Waikato, had all 4 tries within the first 20 mins if I recall.

Tahs only leaked 6 tries, hasnt their usual average been about 8 per match?

God I hope the Wobs pick Swinton for the Bled tests. Total red mist/red card liability.

Swinton was actually pretty strong until his last brain fade, certainly the Tahs strongest carrier, however discipline means he shouldn't be anywhere near the Wallabies. Ramm really defended well, he could give lessons to a lot of other players. Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) just dodges about behind other people in defence, I genuinly think he deliberately avoids putting himself in a position where he has to make a tackle.
So ends a dreadful season, will give some clearer thoughts once I've had time to consider.

I rate him. He'll mature.

One of the only blokes having a crack.

Yeah nah.

Schoolboy rockstar who was poorly behaved as a schoolboy. Has never been pulled up on this just over indulged by Tah management therefore never saw reason to change his poor on field behaviour.

Tahs will never succeed when they indulge players. Cut him loose for the greater good and to send a message.

Maybe, but he's one of the only players who's actually got the ability to play at this level. Id rather they fix the red mist.

Stupidest thing about that is they'd already won the penalty, there was no need for him to go on with it. Suggests a serious self-control issue & given his previous you wouldn't think he'll get the standard 50% discount so suspension may be four or even five weeks rather than three?
