Merhtens showing he has zero understanding of the rules. Tacklers have had to enter through the gate since 2017. Learn the rules you pike.

AS much as it would ruin the sport I’m interested in having Hawkeye tech for forward passes. A disgrace to the game when forward is seen as back because of ascendancy

Well lucky I read you fella's posts in here, otherwise I may have thought Crusaders played well, and Mounga had just given a masterclass of 10 play, but no it was Fraser who did it, aided and abetted by ARs and TMO!

Best of both words, got to see a NZ team go radio rental against some foreigners + also got to see a team run in a few tries versus the hated Cantabs.

Strangely ineffectual game from Will Jordan. Thought that pace would've perfectly suited his instinctive murderballs style

ps lol@ this thread; "Stupid biased kiwi ref cost us 63 points! It's not fair, mummy!"

You know Mo’unga can play well and Fraser can referee poorly at the same time, right?

Shock horror, Australian Rugby forum doesn’t praise foreign player all match.

Don’t think anyone’s saying that.
Some baffling decisions, but made no difference to the outcome.
Brilliant from the saders and very poor from the reds who were comprehensively outplayed.
But I wouldn’t like to see him reffing a tight one - just not up to it.

I thought Jordan was off a bit tonight too DP, I still reckon he's a wing.

He was shithouse. The ref that is. You need to stop judging Jordan by his father's lofty standards.

I don't think anyone can't say the Crusaders weren't the best team Dan. It's just frustrating to see how much rub of the green they got.

I think it was aptly summed up that the Ref sent the wrong Reds player off. If he gets those small things wrong, who's to say he didnt get it wrong that the Crusaders didn't collapse it themselves thinking they were over the line.

The best Refs will constantly say, they know they've done a great job when no-one remembers them. The other side of the Tasman was complaining about the Reffing all Super Rugby Aotoera, and here we, being subjected by the same sub par Reffing.

Only thing I disagree with in this post is that sending off the wrong player is a small thing. McReight was right in front of Fraser, what was he actually watching?

He’s oblivious
What Merhtans did say though during the broadcast that showed he understands rugby was commenting on how the Kiwi teams stay square in attack and don’t telecast where the ball is going .

Have seen the Crusaders’ training facility and it has grids marked out on it parallel to the sideline , 7m apart . Everyone stays square and commits a defender, after that trust their skill set to get the ball to the bloke in space.

We telecast everything, if your body is turned out in attack, you are going to the outside......it’s not hard to read.
