The same kiwi ref who ignored the idiotic Force thug who came in 45 degrees from the side of the ruck and destroyed the All Black captains knee.
GLOBAL LAW TRIAL

A player may lever the jackler out of the contest at the ruck but must not drop their weight onto them or target the lower limbs.

^ to be fair that only kicks in for SH on 1 July. But that said it surely was a cheap shot & I thought there was a good case for Force's penalty advantage to be reversed (on the basis that foul play trumps offside).

Really needed to score during that last possession before half time. Damage limitation from here to full time one feels.
That the difference, every time chiefs get in force 22 confident they will score, can’t say the same for force. Force just not in the same league and their defence pretty ordinary to boot.

They actually look better when they hang onto the ball and stop those stupid kicks that just hands the ball to the opposition.

Eh its easy to look good with ball in hand when the team you are playing have already scored 50 points.

You would almost bet on force letting in a try once rhe opposition gets into the 22. Complete inability to defend their line.

this was probably one for the stan 2 minutes highlights package

Force results from last 3 games:

10-61
15-53
21-54

Increasing offensive output by about 5 pts a game!

Next week projection: 26 pts!

Other things are happening down the other end of the field but focus on the positives.

Not a great result and you would think the cue was put in the rack once the change of coach announcement was made early. Players not coming back maybe aren't quite so committed when they could risk injury prior to going to a new team. Selections have been odd,.often with the replacements playing better and giving the team more impetus. Michael McDonald looked assured as did Pugh. The Force.really need a win against Pacifika, but in the end what does it matter when out of finals contention. Western Force fans will be keen to query what is going on at the club behind the scenes and if there is a bold recruitment plan to bolster.the roster and bring on the promising WA talent. Go the Force!

At least the force in defence are consistent. Only 8 points difference in what most and least points opposing teams have put on them in the last three matches…….

Glaring absentee from this thread.

We'll have to fill the breach.

"Defiantly came in from the side there again they do it all the time these kiwi teams ref never calls it"

"Surely a YC there repeated offside Chiefs"

"All weekend the Aussie teams have copped some seriously questionable refereeing."

"Kiwi team extreme grubbery as per usual ref turns a blind eye".

"Dismal Pillock, probably the premier rugby football expert on the whole GAGR forum"

"Chiefs hands in the ruck again still no call this is unbelievable"

"Chiefs repeated tackles off the ball been going on all day ref"

This will probably be crucified, but Tupou Vai'i. What the fuck.
That "Tackle" on thrush's try was abysmal. 8-year-olds at the kids' game put in more effort to tackle. He fucking just rolled over. Is it really too much to expect an AB to at least have the gumption to tackle someone hard? And the worst thing is, no one is going to correct him. If we only look at offense, we get rolled at international level. If I'm the coach, I am calling out Tupou in front of the whole team on Monday's video review. And asking him are you going to tackle? If not, you're out.

stuff.co.nz reporting that Cane's knee injury has been diagnosed as just a strain. Probably won't travel to Fiji but expected to be available for QF.
