This is the last trial match before the Brumbies start their season of February 22. The match will be at Viking Park at 7pm and entry is free.

The Brumbies will have their Wallabies contingent available except Lealiifano who is still recovering from ankle surgery.

The fringe players who went to Queenstown with the Brumbies will be part of the ACT XV including Tom Staniforth, Matt Hawke, Tim Cree, Rod Iona and Michael Smith.

The squads for this fixture will be known later in the week.

Is Moggy fit and available?

Will have to check on Mogg's status. He had been participating in training with the main squad so maybe he's ahead on his rehab.

ACT XV team out on Wednesday and the Brumbies on Thursday.

Is Fardy's switch to blindside likely to be for longer than the trials?

Fardy will no doubt revert to lock at some stage in the game, as there's four flankers on the bench and no locks.

I don't understand the benefit of 28 man squads, surely they would have been better served to named a 22 man squad and pad the ACT XV.

I tend to agree but it also gives guys in the ACT XV a good run, and never know might find a few diamonds in the extra players.

It's Free at Vikings park if I was there I would go down, hopefully someone gets down there and does a good match report.

Im think Fardy may end up at 6... Auelua seems to be an impact player and with the ballooning in the off season may not last a full 80. Smiler is adequate but no world beater and Butler may need to grow into the row from the bench, so if we get a good'un out of Power or Whetton we may see Fardy stay where he is.

Guess that's what the trails are for.
