TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Two years ago I got the shits and read the law. Aside from dangerous palm-offs, the player with the ball can run as they choose. The onus is on the tackler to get it right.
I’m sure youre right but that incident is precisely why they need to look into it.

Boks are starting to get into their patterns. Box kick and pressure, and everything else at a fucking glacial pace.

Wobs a bit fortunate the home broadcaster cut away from replays of Banks breaking his arm on some guys head.

Oh well, at least the Boks are having a run with it even though it seems theyve forgotten how to do it effectively and have been turned over pretty much almost every time they've tried it. Beats shitting directly down the throat of the spirit of rugby like they did last week and vs the Lions.

What I liked in the second Lenny try, wasn't just the work by Tupou, but the back line holding the ball with short passes to still get wide where the opportunity was. Against the ABs that would have been a wide intercept for sure.

breaking your forearm is one way to avoid a red card for head high tackling

Tough way to leave the field knowing you may not be back for the series. More punishing for the player than a RC. Happy for the team that it wasn't conceded all the same.
