Seems international coaching is like that, coaches have an innovative plan that gets them on top for a couple of years to great success. Other teams figure it out and it becomes ineffective, but coach still too dogged & stubborn to let it go, so coach ends up leaving unfavourably a few years after brilliance. Like Cheika, Gatland with Wales & Lions, Eddie Jones with England.
"Back in the day", Rod Macqueen was showing a pre-season coaching clinic at Eastwood oval what the Wallabies had done during the previous season.
"Aren't you afraid of this knowledge getting out" was one question.
"No. We've already moved on" he answered.
One of the reasons for his 79% success rate.

Hope he comes to Japan where he will be teased mercilessly by kindergarten-aged children. "Nienaber" translates directly as baby talk for "peek-a-boo". Guy would be an absolute laughing stock. Not only for his anti-rugby agenda but also in childcare facilities nationwide.

Except for the forking all blacks. They only ever suffer a blip of a game or two.

I hate how black 2 gets a warning but every other team would be instantly penalized for the same thing

Akira looking soft as fuck again. I thought he might be in for a shock against a team more physical than the Wallabies
